I think my head would explode if the Spurs got Sheed somehow. Lets keep our fingers crossed, if not Sheed spurs will add 1 more piece this off season.

no......i dont want him on the Spurs this season, but I dont want him to leave SA. He seems like a cool cat and a nice guy. Would be a positive to have in our community. Also, we need all the help we can get to make SA a bigger part of the HS and college BBall landscape.
Damn i dont even wanna think about it until it happens, incase it doesnt. But how well would the team match up with the Lakers with Sheed.
What is the earliest we could know that Rasheed was coming to the Spurs? I know they can't talk to him until the 1st of July, but if he accepts immediately will they announce it then, or do they have to wait until the 8th (or something like that)?
There could be a release that he has verbally commited, and can't officially sign until the 8th.
Im sure you meant to say it cant be verbally comitted until the 1st. thats the extreme earliest.

Yea that would probably be it and Ill take it. I think Blair is going to be very important to this team also. I really think he's going to be a really good player. Him coming off the bench is just awesome but i could see blair starting down the road. Our bench is all the sudden pretty awesome
blair, mason, hill, mahinmi, bonner (yuck), maybe mcclinton, maybe gist, hopefully get bowen back.
In one summer we have become soooo much younger and just sooooo much better. Amazing-i haven't been this excited about spurs stuff in a long time

Well, of course Sheed would be a good addition. But if I could choose a player to go after I would go for McDyess first.
That said, I really like having a shooting big next to Duncan. If you keep Bonner as the 4th big, you really have a lot of options. I am really curious to see what happens and who comes. If Sheed really signs with the Spurs I would really like to get another "classic 5" to battle with the likes of Yao, Bynum, Shaq,... Players I hope the look at:

Rasho (don't flame me but I think he would do alright playing limited minutes)
Gortat
We'll see...
