Vspan in the NBA with an unknown team? oh c'mon there's no deal. He could still sign with the Spurs or any other NBA team come contract time. He might have some sort of verbal gentelman's agreement with some exec that if he's available come contract time, that they'd be glad to have him. That's a far cry from having an agreement with some NBA team.

Perfect situation for Vspan is some team running Euro offense high post offense with lots of passing and cutting run by a Euro friendly coach. Only situation like that is...who? Raptors? Rockets? Spurs?
    Nope it is another team.

He would fit in well in D'Antoni's offense.

No you sucker. He will play one more year in Greece and then in 2010 off season he will come to NBA again. The deal is already agreed upon and he will start at point guard with his future NBA team.
    And....

Welcome to Greece. Where it's OK to just make up.

Spanoulis didn't go back to Greece because of playing time, or because of his mother's health. This photo explains why he was so hot to get back to Greece, and why he says he'll never leave again.

Well he had to win MVP somewhere. I'm shocked that a Greek man won a Greek MVP as voted by Greek people. Amazing. Doubt he'll ever get a sniff of an NBA court.

I guess that explains how he also won the MVP in Euroleague playoffs then?
