What's an "INDUSTRIAL PAINTER"
I'm currently a "painter"... and I want to get the out of Beaumont/Port Arthur area... it's depressing.
Are there jobs for industrial painters in San Antonio? I'm thinking of moving there or if not San Marcos but I don't know where to start...
I am only 21... and at this point I could care less about the months left in my lease.. :P I'm thinking about just finding the right time to move out.. but trying to find a job...

They paint for industries.
Basic Industries just opened a yard off 410 on the south side of town. I've seen some sing that they're hiring.
Well I've been doing this for about 9-10 months... and I've only worked in refineries... sandblasting/painting 80 to 120 foot tall crude oil tanks as well as pipelines etc.
I'm sure there's more to it than just that but yeah.. that's what I know. I appreciate the input guys.
There's not near the demand here that there is at the coast because we don't have the corrosion factors.

I have used Ace-Travis in the past and they are good guys.
Thanks a lot... this sure is gonna help with that job hunt.
Anyone that sandblasts in Texas in the summer has my respect as a tough guy. I'll bet you have to drink 5 gallons of water a day just to stay hydrated.
right now we drink a bottle of water every thirty minutes... but I'm sure we drink more than that + Gatorade.
company policy... I was close to a heat stroke earlier this month... so things are getting easier for us.. thank god
