Maybe the Magic getting Vince Carter is the reasoning for this? He probably didnt want to go back to Orland because he would have a reduced role. I don't see any teams that could get him.

orlando is d up, they got no depth on their bench

they given away lee and alston for carter....at leasts they wouldve been deep 7 spots...

now if turgo bolts, that leaves a huge spot on their roster in terms of bench production....

The article brings up a good point about Boozer and Howard being close.

I could see a sign & trade involving Boozer for Turkoglu happening. Magic get a rebounding/scoring PF in boozer and Utah gets a scoring SF. Utha can start Milsap at PF, Turkoglu at SF which allows Kirelenko to play more minutes at PF, where he was most effective early in his career as a steal and block machine.

    Orlando:
    C-Howard
    PF-Boozer
    SF-Lewis
    SG-Carter
    PG-Nelson
    (SCARY lineup)

    Utah
    C-Okur
    PF-Milsap
    SF-Turkoglu
    SG-Brewer
    PG-Williams
    6th Man: Kirilenko

I hope not, and it wouldn't make much sense anyway. Pistons are rebuilding and Hedo is older than Prince. They just drafted three small forwards in the draft and Dumars said all three could likely make the team.

    I seriously hope not.

Sucks for whoever gets him. I'm not sold that he is or was or ever will be anything special. Hedo.

He's not really anything special when he's forced to be a spot us shooter.

$35 million over 4 years (assuming the 10% raises yearly) is maybe a $300,000 raise next season from the pay he just opted out of.

I am hearing that Toronto has a lot of interest in Hedo. I believe they have about $10 or $11 M in room under the cap.

I don't see his getting much over that offer unless a team is desperate.

    Desperate for Hedo?

I think and I really hope that the Pistons aren't in line for his services.

It makes more sense for Portland. Doesn't make much sense for Detroit.

idk what's more dreamy/scary, that, or

    C - Duncan
    PF - Wallace
    SF - Jefferson
    SG - Ginobili
    PG - Parker

idk about that, it puts us right back in the mix, but the Lakers still have to be the favourites.

Not if you live in Utah? They have a quota to meet there if they want to keep season ticket holders...
