Sheed seems like a guy that likes to have fun, and the Spurs as an organization have a very business-like approach...two differing personalities. I don't know if Sheed thinks he fits, but I guess we'll see.

said that Sheed was looking at Boston, SA, Dallas, and Orlando....Boston is making the biggest push (if you believe him)..but he says they're upping the ante..not sure how they can do that, when they only have the MLE...

I just called Pop-it's busy. So, that's a good sign.

True, but it seems like Rasheed has a ton of respect and gets along with Pop very well, and is rumored to have a pretty good friendship with Duncan. In fact, it seems like Rasheed has more respect for Pop than he has had for any of his coaches, aside from Larry Brown.

Yeah...Bucher's been saying Boston is ahead, while Broussard is saying SA is likely to sign him. I'd normally believe Broussard over Bucher.

Pop: " don't worry; we still have Finley anyway; and RJ will be a fine backup Center; and we should get SPlitter and Gist in 3-4 years, after Tim retires; add to that the fact that Mason will have matured as a backup PG and that Hill will be playing overseas to develop to a decent player, and we're talking dinasty here "

It will come down to money and years. He makes Orlando, Cavs, Celts and the Spurs all equally scary good.

I don't see why it would come down to money and years, when all of the teams that he would likely sign with all have the same amount of money to spend on him, and none would likely give him longer than a 3 year contract.

Well if a team is not willing to spend the full MLE and others are that would make a difference. If all teams are offering him MLE then the team willing to give him an extra year could get his services.
