As we told you last week on Sports Tonight the Celtics would love to get Rasheed Wallace to come off the bench this year. As we grow closer to the post July 1st NBA free agent signing period the chances of Rasheed wearing green this coming season are very good.
He is good friends with Keving Garnett and he has a great interest in coming here.
My gut tells me Rasheed Wallace will be come a Celtic soon."

Why would Sheed go there and come off the bench, when he could come to SA and start? Unless it's the $$$.
I just don't see Sheed wanting to come off the bench.

Sheed would start if he came here. Boston, probably not.
How is it a done deal if they can pursue any FA till tomorrow?? And if they can't sign until the 8th?

exactly the only team without a starting Center is the Spurs, the Cavs have Z and Shaq; the Magic how Dwight, the Celtics have KG/Perkins
The Spurs are the only team without a legit starting center, if Rasheed wants to start, he will get starting minutes with the Spurs
Sheed is the big fish in this market. If he goes elsewhere, I am sure Pop and RC have a plan B. And Plan B may not be a bad option for us.
He'd start in Orlando.

I think Rasheed fits a bigger "need" in SA ... If he goes to Orlando Gortat is gone ...which would hurt if and when Dwight gets in to foul trouble ...
Should be interesting but my guess is Rasheed will get AT LEAST FULL MLE ...he is the most coveted big man in the FA class MCdyess would not be a bad 2nd option for the Spurs or Verajao but my guess is Pop will not keep Bonner as the starter opposite Tim ...

Silly talk SPurs are not THAT far behind Lakers if Spurs get either Sheed, Antonio, or Verajao it may be enough to get them to at least the wCF ...if Manu is healthy ...
