    that would be terrible for the lakers

    as i've said in other threads, trevor isn't the best SF in the market but he's the best SF that suits the lakers

    the lakers would not have won a championship without trevor ariza. remember those 2 steals against denver? remember how close that series was? a lot of people thought denver was going to take it. and chauncey may very well be the one holding up the larry obrien and bill russell trophies if it wasnt for trevor

    some ppl dont understand why bonner/finley get hated on after we get knocked off in the first round, well i dont understand why trevor gets hated on after the lakers won the championship!

    Nobody hates Trevor Ariza, all the Laker fans I know love Ariza.

    It's just that at $8-9 million, Ariza isn't worth it and Artest at MLE would be a steal. If Trevor takes the MLE and the Lakers re-sign Odom for that same $8-$9 million, everything is perfect.

    Pretty much that's it. If he can get paid let him get paid. We don't hate. If he leaves he'll always be remembered for being a major part in winning a Ring. Let him make his money. He can always come back later in a Mitch trade.
