This sounds like an episode of burn notice is about to begin.

Hey, Jeffrey Donovan is from Massachusetts and probably a Celtics fan. This could get real in a hurry.

How embarrassing would it be for sheed to get all kinds of love from the c's then turn around and sign with the Spurs. That would be funny as . C's fans would be burning. Yeah that's right we took Duncan from you and now Sheed!

Worse case scenario they might pool their rage and murder and consume Joey Crawford during a live NBA telecast.
Isn't that really the best case scenario? Seriously no more Joey Crawford!

It has precedence with Miami over Finley, but, the more this plays out, the more I think Sheed is going to Boston.

You should be greatfull that you heard the Spurs were even interested in him.

The Spurs have been semi unCIA up until the draft, now they are back into "leak and die" mode.

Some times you have to go the extra mile for certaiin players, it is good business. If all else is equal, the teams that put the most effort in (combined with logic and good fit) will win.

don't know. Sheed, like Finley seem like the kind of guys that will use logic and won't get flattered by any of this BS flair.

It makes more sense for him to go to Spurs, IF he still wants to play and work his ass off. That's a big IF.

Honestly I'm getting really tired of all this Rasheed Wallace talk about if and why he will or won't come here. U wanna talk serious???

    Let's talk about MIKE WALLACE!

Now this dude is a bit up there in age but that never hurt the Spurs. He's the complete package. I think given the scoring threats already on the floor Wallace can concentrate on pure D and be a BEAST on the boards! I think K_B_P has pix of this guy posting up and destroying Bouroussis in Greece too so we know he has post moves. Dude can flat out ball! I say let's get him before Boston does!

Well it would be hard to say no after all that ass kissing but I'd like to think Sheed will see through the BS. Maybe the C's make the sales pitch and Sheed tells them he will think about it. That alone would be telling. Regardless at least well have a little more knowledge to go with the suspense later today.

Every interested team will give him a pitch..if all it took was ass-kissing and visits from the players/management, every team would be doing that..

As I've said many times, it comes down to his friendship with KG..that's all Boston has going for them..everything else is in our favor..

Here’s how badly the Boston Celtics believe Rasheed Wallace can be the difference in winning an 18th NBA championship next season: Coach Doc Rivers and the Big Three have made a recruiting trip to woo him.

The Celtics are targeting Wallace with the midlevel exception and sources say the team – which could be willing to pay a steep luxury tax – is also pursuing Phoenix’s Grant Hill. The Celtics sent Rivers, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen(notes) to encourage Wallace to sign with them. Garnett and Wallace have a close relationship.

Boston officials are convinced that these next 24 to 48 hours are critical in overtaking the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference, and eventually, the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.
Wallace, who turns 35 in September, is the free agent power forward that most of the contenders covet, including Cleveland, Orlando, San Antonio and Dallas.

That is an old ass article from yesterday. And in the "Spurs in line to woo Sheed" thread, it was said that KG didnt make the trip. Only Ainge, Rivers, Pierce, and the owner made it. And it was also reported that the Cavs and Spurs are meeting with Sheed today as well.
