There is no socialism in the NBA!!! Its more like kingdoms instead!!

There is definitely a line of demarcation between the NBA Haves and NBA Have Nots!

    The Haves:

Western Conference: Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, and Blazers

Eastern Conference: Cavs, Celts, and Magic

Looking to get into the Haves Neighborhood:

Western Conference: Rockets, Mavs, and Jazz

Eastern Conference: Hawks, Heat, and Pistons

    Have Nots:

    Everybody Else!!!!!

Revenue sharing, luxury tax, soft payroll cap.... there most definitely is socialism in the NBA, and if there wasn't the Spurs would probably be in big trouble.

FIFY Blazers aren't anything yet, let alone in the elite. Rockets drop out of the "looking" neighborhood without Yao. If the Mavs fumble the Kidd deal, they'll drop out of that neighborhood, too. I'll leave them there for now.

Other teams are spending as much money as these teams. They just are not spending it wisely. baseball is a different situation, because some teams are outspending others by huge amounts. But the teams spending the most still aren't winning all the time. Look at last year's World Series.
