Quite simply, the Spurs don't beat the Lakers without Sheed or Dice, and Sheed is the better fit. Also, there is no way to know as of yet whether Dice will resign with the Pistons (the reports to date on him have been conflicting).

As such, I must respectfully disagree. As of now, if the Spurs want to win a le in 2010, it's Sheed or bust.

I'm not sure why you guys give so much respect to Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom. Then again, those same people are giving way too much credit to Rasheed Wallace, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
