I'm currently graduate teaching and getting my Master's at Northern Arizona University right now... Originally from Phoenix, spent from age 8 through 24 in Yuma, Arizona. Worked for the city's local paper for six years out of high school while netting two Associates degrees from Arizona Western College. Recently graduated with my Bachelor's in Communications, emphasis news editorial media studies.
Will look to pursue a Doctorate and hope to do so at the "U" in Tucson in the coming years. Gotsta see Sean Miller get Lute's legacy back on track...

Gibril is excellent at Run D, but below average at pass D. He is a solid Safety in the NFL. I was kind of mad when the Raider released him.
Lol, 1-15
lol, crying when they beat the Ravens in 2007
lol, getting curbstomped vs the Ravens in the wild card.
you went to Kofa???? If so I killed you guys in football and basketball......
Native to the 'Zona.
When it rains here i make a stupid face like a baby who's seen television for the first time.
San Antonio, to Austin, to Boston, back to Austin, to Fort Worth and back to San Antonio in '05 (thankfully! What a season, glad I didn't miss it!).
Ok...here it goes...
-Born in Ocean City/Salisbury, MD...lived there for 7 years.
-Lived in Miami, FL most of my life (from 1990-2000, and July 2001-2004)
-Lived in Brooklyn, NY (Williamsburg area) for 7 months...wanted to get away after high school and see NYC, stayed with a buddy and fell in love with the city. I was 18 though, money ran out and I had no job.
--Back to Miami, had two years of college at FIU and left school to tour with my roommates band.
--roadied/managed with them while living in Phoenix in the summer of 2004.
--Lived in Arlington, VA with the band after that for the remainder of 2004.
--Moved to College Park/DC in 2005. Took my junior year at UMD College Park (go Terps!), and became an EMT-Rescue tech on the side at a local rescue squad. Took some more time off college (still didn't know what i wanted to do).
--Finished up my BA at salisbury University in Salisbury, MD in Fall/Winter 2007.
--Moved to Boise, ID for 3 months (in the dead of winter) to take a fast-track Paramedic course, after which I moved back to D.C./Maryland for 3 months and worked there.
--Then I took a job as a Paramedic down in Louisiana b/c of a nice signing bonus, and i was led to beleive I'd be in New Orleans. Instead, they put me in Alexandria, LA--just in time for Gustav. Good experience, but a horrible place to live (Deliverance country). I was outta there by December and moved to Pittsburgh.
--Still here in Pitt, working two jobs. one as a full-time medic and the other as a flight medic. Love it here so far.
There's my life story holc
to answer your question, I always say I'm from Miami![]()

well played.
...yeah I got carried away...I needed to put that down on paper (or some written/typed form) just to remember my "path".
One thing I forgot to mention, my sports allegiances:
NBA: Duh, the Los Angeles Lakers (my Dad took me to a game at the forum in 89--first time I'd ever seen an NBA game, needless to say I was hooked).
NFL: Buffalo Bills--the yin to my Lakers yang--polar opposites in success
MLB: Florida Marlins--came into existence when I was living in Miami, also went to the inaugural game.
NHL: Florida Panthers--same reason as the Marlins, except I've never seen them live.
NCAAB: Maryland Terrapins
NCAAF: Miami Hurricanes
yeah, i've gone wayyyy off topic now![]()
I grew up in Buena Ventura, NM right outside of Albuquerque.
I did maintenance work when i was only 13 at University Arena (The Pit) during bball games. I grew up a Lobos fan.
our "house" seriously looked just like this

Spurs, Vikings, Astros, Bruins, UT Longhorns, UT Longhorns. Hook 'em!
