Always a pleasure, BlackJack21!!!
Now, if the Spurs turn Finley and Bonner, into, say, Dan Gadzuric, then this offseason will turn into Mardi Gras!!!
You're as classy as they come.
Thisis for you, Jamstone!!!

At this stage in his career McDyess = Kurt Thomas in '08. This is not a game changing move by any means. Definitely not a move that will get the Spurs up to the Laker's level.
Someone's jealous of our mental stability.
LOL. You realize your only hope of beating LA is praying that somehow Ron Artest self destructs and brings down the entire franchise right?
Pretty pathetic.
This is like Karl Rove giving Democrats advice during the 2008 election.
What a relief. The frontcourt will be so solid. No more tapouts and reaches for rebounds. I was so sick of seeing the Spurs repeatedly outrebounded. No more. Dice is a class act and fits the Spurs mold. Great great signing.
I'm thinkin' he's going to go with 24, though..
Why screw up what's finally been working?
Newsflash, McDyess is going to get outrebounded by bigger PF's and C's. Have any of you morons actually watched him play recently?
Richard Jefferson
And which C do you have in mind? 6 PPG / 4 RPG Andrew "the next Hakeem/Kareem/Wilt hybrid" Bynum by any chance?
I give it even odds. Really.
I wouldn't exactly call anyone morons.
You posted this about 2 hours ago and were completely wrong. (Read above) And shows you might not watch the NBA outside of your beloved Lakers whenever they are winning.
Then you totally ignored this rebuttal ( Read below) to your inaccurate synopsis on Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.
Don't think anyone is saying this particular move was the "game changer", but the Spurs lost frontcourt depth when they traded for Richard Jefferson, which was probably the single most significant move of the Spurs' offseason.
They got alot of that depth back in McDyess, who despite what you say is actually a more complete player and better compliment to Tim Duncan than KT.
Start with the Jefferson deal, add a lottery talent rookie and finish it off with a solid big....all that plus a healthy Manu DEFINITELY changes the game. Obviously the games have yet to be played, but on paper I see the Spurs got MUCH younger, athletic and more talented....while the Lakers swapped one starting SF for another, and may still lose Lamar Odom to another team.
Seems alot closer to me than you give it credit.
Why bother getting on the merry go round with this person?
Clearly, it never stops!!!
Yeah I'm bummed that the Spurs FO is coughing up MLE money for a guy who'll likely produce 8/8 in about 28 minutes.
They should have been like LA and spent double that money for a bust who produces 6/4 and fouls out in 20 minutes
