    Highly doubtful he'd play. Basically, no. He'd have to volunteer to play as he's 28 and played in the NBA before. The Spurs know what they're getting in the guy so they wouldn't ask him to play.

    I wouldn't want him to play simply cause it would take away minutes from mahinmi,gist,or blair. These are the guys who need the most PT and have the most questions (probably not blair so much)

    Yeah I figured he wouldn't need the pro experience, per se. But maybe for exposure to the Spurs system in game scenarios, etc. But I guess that can be achieved in practices and early in the regular season.

    I don't know why he can't?..Michael Sweetney is playing for the Celtics in the Summer League isn't he?...And he was in the NBA a whole lot longer than Haislip?...

    seeing Gist (rebounding off of free throws), he's pretty lean and looks mobile. there's a lot of doubts about whether he can play the 3 ... judging by just the way he looks i would say he can play it defensively. it's be great if he could grow into a defensive specialist for the Spurs. Spurs seem to be lacking one right now.

    The two things that stood out were that Blair is big mofo and Ian is one tall skinny dude. I am pretty sure that Blair is going to be putting the hurt on alot of players I just hope not ours..lol.

    Yeah, but that's how Ian has always looked. He's also always moved like he did in that video. That's just him. He could probably work on lower body strength.
