So, he pulled the Trigger on Gay for Battier?

Donte Green, Bobby Jackson for Artest
So, he pulled the Trigger on Gay for Battier?

Didn't you say Artest is a team killer? Morey really lost this trade.
You finally make it out of the first round and all the sudden your GM is a genius. OK...i'll play along.
Considering what we had to deal with before??? Morey has no choice but to rebuild now, but he is not goin to mess up the money freed up for 2010
A few years now? LMAO...2007, 2005...hmm...we're the only team in the Southwest Division with a banner last year...seems like we're the winners...no one, except Mavs fans, will remember beating the Spurs in the first round of the playoffs last year, but everyone will remember the Spurs being the division champs...we have the banner to prove it. So go on loving your "We beat the Spurs" trophy..and cuddle it..because it won't happen again.![]()
But Dampier is so amazing - why do they even need a back-up center?
Ye morey is pretty genius, he freakin singed Ariza with that disabled player exception thing![]()
Is this a serious post? I mean, a real serious post? Did you post this to make people laugh, or were you actually serious?
Division Champ smack....?
Next thing you know, Cuban will ask Shawn Bradley to come out of retirement
You're trying too hard.
How did you get that many posts?
To be a high energy big off the bench...

Actually, to be honest this is a very sad situation for Dallas fans.
What makes it comical is that an incompetent guy like Donnie Nelson is allowed to stay in his job.
"When we're ready, we'll pull the trigger"

Gortat's agent: Orlando will match Dallas Mavericks' offer

The Orlando Magic have indeed notified Marcin Gortat of its intent to match the offer sheet he signed with Dallas last week for $34 million over five years, according to Gortat's agent Guy Zucker.
Zucker said he received word from the Magic about two hours ago.
Gortat, who is in his native Poland, is "very, very disappointed," Zucker said.
The Mavs, certainly are, too. Zucker said he had been on the phone with "everyone" from Dallas since receiving the word and they had expressed disappointment. The Mavs lost forward Brandon Bass to the Magic last week, putting the Mavericks in shaky position in the post with few quality big men available. The Magic had until Wednesday to make a move on Gortat or let him go.
Gortat wanted to play in Dallas where he had a chance to be a starter and would certainly get more minutes than he does in Orlando, backing up Dwight Howard.
"They had a tremendous amount of confidence in Marcin," Zucker said of the Mavs.

Great ing work, Otis.
Now go wash my car.
Otis and Zucker.... this is getting more hilarious by the minute...![]()
Of course he is...who doesn't want to be overpaid?
To his credit, though, he's not one of those s that are just in it for the money. He genuinely wants to play and Dallas afforded him the best opportunity to do so.
Lol at Cuban thinking Otis was going to do the right thing...
I agree certainly happy for the big money but I really think he wanted to have more minutes to show what he can do. It sucks for him and for the mavs.
Now is it possible to imagine Cuban doing something crazy to go after Odom?![]()
Fresh from the NBA Rumor Mill...Dallas has a trade already in place to get a decent big to fill the void left by Gortat.
