Some people are too ing stupid to understand the salary cap. The Mavs have one of the highest pay rolls.

Ummm one problem Odom wants 10 mil a year...MLE only half that. Everyone knows Odom gonna be re-signing with the Lakers![]()
Honestly Spurstalk has the lowest percentage of posters that understand the salary cap of any basketball site I have been to.
Mark Cuban is a billion dollar man.. what's wrong with an extra 20 million dollars to screw the Lakers out of a chip?
whott>hoopsworld>timvp.
gtown > ignignokt
what's to say a trade won't happen where obtaining Odom is possible for Mavfan.
the stupidity here is insane. i wonder how many people are working on getting their GED's
The whole thing with the mavs going after odom was a joke. They can't offer more than the MLE (which the were going to offer to Gortat)...so they wouldn't be able to get him.
**This post is addressed to the OP
Rockets could potentially pull the trigger. We still have the full MLE and plenty of trade chips.
The salary cap and the the CBA.
Why in the would they do that? They desperately need a center and a shooting guard......However, I read somewhere that they have something cooking in regarding to acquiring a center, just no word on who
but Landry is on the trade block, battier might be traded
Free agents can't be traded.
im talking about players on the roster being traded away to acquire space and money.
DUNCAN, gettin' his .net on.
WOOT!
Sure. All Dallas needs to do is find a way to dump about $40 mil of salary without taking any back. Dirk to Memphis for a 2nd round pick anyone???

Just stop.
Do you realize the trades that would have to be pulled off to make this happen? Fail
OP just give it up. You're only making it worse on yourself by defending your fail. You might wanna just lay low for a while.
I dont even know if its possible, just a thought I had since they are getting screwed out of the Gotat deal (which, honestly, I didnt think was that great of a deal anyway).
I still think he signs with the Lakers but would Cuban make a push for him?
Wow.... Just wow. This just proves what I said in the other thread.
