It's a pretty bad bench.
It's amazing that Lamar makes that bench ALOT better. With Lamar, it's a good bench, without him, it's pretty horrible.
Farmar/Brown
Vujacic
Walton/Morrison
Powell
Mbenga
Worst bench of all time?

Pretty much like Ginobili with the Spurs
Mbenga is one of the better defensive bigs in the league (not ting you).
I know, it's insane how big a difference one guy can make. The only guy worth a damn on there is Shannon, but what's weird is in 2008 our bench was amazing yet it's basically the exact same people except no Turiaf. Yet guys like Farmar and Vujacic have completely fallen off the face of the earth and Powell comes nowhere close to bringing what Turiaf did.
Unless those gots (farmar/vujac got) step it up like they did in 08, then yes it will be the worst bench.
They're just lucky to have the GOAT luke walton leading them
*checks flag under name* Riiiight.
morrison=larry bird. you guys are gonna be alright.
Give him 10m a night and ull see what he can bring. He isn't worth on offense and has bad hands, but he's a big strong body and has quick feet. Hey, just tryin' to bring a positive note to your bench![]()
Blair coming off the bench also!
Saying it "out loud" like that, Allan, is a tad frightening I must admit.
For a team that is supposed to win a championship, ya.
I guess in that case Walton will start instead of Artest.
Agreed, I was joking about worst of all time but you make a good point.
Morrison could turn out great... and I think Lamar stays he's just raising up his value...
Morrison is playing on the Summer League. That's how highly PJax thinks of him... And I think Odom would be better served signing a one year contract and seeing what he can get next season. I just doubt the Lakers want to rent him for a year.
It's crazy how Odom pretty much = the Lakers' depth. If you guys don't re-sign him, you fall back to the pack with all of the other contenders.
No. Lamar Odom will be the one getting owned in the 2010 sweepstakes with many teams going after the 2003 draft class and others. There will be practically no hope of Odom getting a huge payday and many years on his contract. He needs to use his leverage this year.
What a concept. A team losing one of its top 3 players would get worse.
He can't leverage this year, considering most teams already reloaded or are cleaning cap space for next year. If he can't get anything next year, then sign another one year contract and wait it out.
There's always a team willing to offer a bad contract for somebody like Odom.
Yet for some reason you Mavs fans conveniently ignore this when you brag about how you beat us last season.![]()
