Trade Humphries for Von Wafer.
Sign Drew Gooden for something small, perhaps a vet's minimum if possible.
Sign Marquis Daniels.
Find a package to trade JET/Barea + Buckner & fillers... for a center, hopefully Kaman or Okafor (Kaman being more likely, since they could get Barea as a young backup PG, and some nice cap relief with Buckner)

If Mavs can roll out with this...

Kidd/JET/Beaubois
Howard/Wafer
Marion/Daniels
Dirk/Gooden
Kaman/Dampier

That would be a a good lineup.

Because they already have 2 centers, plus adding Griffin. They have plenty of big men, but need a young PG. So Barea could fit that well. And since they are rebuilding, the instant $9 mil of space that Buckner frees up would probably be very nice to them. Might as well trade Kaman away while you can get as much as possible for him, since they won't get crap for Camby now.

Not saying it will happen. Just I would love it if it could.

Terry for Kaman blows considering Terry is the better player and more durable. Furthermore this team's outside shooting is weak enough as is. We want to add to it, not lose it.

But yes Kaman would add a low post scoring element if he's healthy... but I'm just not a fan of the guys game (not that I watch him often, although opportunities have been scarce lately since the ers always hurt)... but he had one good year when the Clips' frontline was thin surrounded by mediocre years... Dampier had a better year than Kaman last year.

Know what the Clips want for Kaman? Nuggets could use a true Center like him. Getting sick of seeing an undersized Nene playing the 5.

Kaman averaged 12 and 8 and 52% shooting despite being hurt, with a garbage team around him, and you say Damp had a better year? You're an idiot on so many levels, I don't even know where to begin.
