Nash I will give props to tho, a guy who rose up and played some damn good ball when quite a bit of odds were against him.
He quit a couple times late in the playoffs whilst in Dallas. I saw it. I'm sure that is why Cuban let the Suns walk away with him.

with shaq/duncan at zenith at time, made sense to go after Damp.

But losing Nash was not addition by subtraction. In a perfect world the Mavs get Damp/Nash and are probably even better. As it is, if not for biased officiating, we would have won a le.

Addition of Stack/Terry/Devin + development of Josh and Dirk entering his absolute prime, along with a change in philosophy were the primary reasons the Mavs made Finals 2 years after losing Nash.

hmm, don't remember those games specifically but ill take your word for it. I was pointing to more that he's undersized, white, came from santa clara, canadian "haha, just f'in around, no but really, ha", and he still was able to lead his team a step away from the finals. I have been pretty amazed with his play sometimes a few years ago. All Im saying is im going to give him some props he deserves that.

& it's because he's [white] that he was able to conspire to mutiny against Porter and get clean away with it. Not shining a light on Nash's shame doesn't make it any less a reality. He just adamantly undermined Porter from day one. He poured so much poison into Bell's and Diaw's ears that Kerr finally had to ship their corrupted asses to Charlotte. Nash adamantly refused to throw the dump in to Daddy on the low block.

"They" Bell and Diaw and Hill were promised by Nash upon arrival in Phoenix that there would be light practices, no defensive responsibility and light practices. Amare had promised that to Nash when he went to Texas to get him. They did not sign up for Terry Porter...and they weren't going to abide his directives.

Nash has his two MVPs (like the Kobe puppet and his 3 ring case) and everything exactly the way he wanted it in Phoenix. & Terry Porter was not coming in there and ing it up for him. The paper here (only one paper) owns a piece of the Suns and vice versa. It's cozy arrangement for the players who are in the proverbial "circle of trust." So, the bloodless coup to oust Porter was never a risk for Nash. All he had to do was sabotage Porter in broad daylight. And he did.

hmm interesting to hear that take. So, suns fans being as feeble as they are-and so critical-what were the sentiments in the marbury years-early 00's-i was at UA and saw a game up in phx and it was pretty amusing. Again, i just feel bad for die hard suns fans, but actually when u look back steph played some legit games for the suns in the playoffs. As for nash , yea i believe what you say, he pretty much controls the outcome, and look he's never going to get one, he got his two ridiculous mvps. I mean seriously? I mean c'mon? hahahha, okay the guy wins mvp then get completely swamped by a timmy dunc led team, just doesn't make sense. I think any legit suns fan now days would be happy if they took one of those nash mvps away and gave a 3rd to td. Thats how it works -playoffs nash, playoffs.

For DoK, i feel for ya man, and all the other phoenix get (asu fans) fans who ditch and don't care now.

ASU fans are about as bandwagon as it gets with the Cardinals, Suns, and D-backs. They talk a ton of about the teams when they suck, and then act like die hard fans when they're good.

shoots 50+% from the field, 40+% from behind the arc, and 90+% from the free throw line. I just wanted everyone to know. All you morons that want to talk about the fact his defense basically negates those stats and he throws teammates under the bus and gets them traded, you should know that the 50 40 90 stat makes everything else not matter. I know the Lakers might have won the championship this year, but having a 50 40 90 player is basically the equivalent to that.............well.............at least in the Nash lover's mind it is.
DoK, is this spill-over venting from an argument on another board? A Suns board perhaps?

No this was from the thread about overrated/underrated where some butt hurt Nash fan shared his hobby of jacking off to the 50 40 90 stat.

    1) Way better than it was with Nash either way
    2) If Nash was guarding Tony Parker in 2006, no chance in Dallas gets by SA

His playoff record is exhibit A.
    26-25 coaching very talented teams.

    299-222 reg season record.
Waaay to much of a drop off there from reg season to post season.
NOT a good coach , unless selling tickets is part of the equation.

D'Antoni was hired by Colangelo who hired only bagmen as coaches. He'd (Jerry) make every decision and you understood that going in. That's the way it'd been done since '68. Ezy Pzy,,,you know the rest. Where D'Antoni caught a hanger was when he got lost in the shuffle during the sale of the franchise to Sarver. He became a broken arrow and creamed the franchise. He was like Duce, that Mussolini fellow. By the time Sarver smelled a rat he couldn't get D'Antoni to come back in from the cold, so, he -canned him and reasserted The Colangelo Doctrine by hiring Porter and then Gentry. They'll soldier and do what they're told and he can pay them like less than peanuts.

As a court coach D'Antoni is wired high & tight. To him its personal and he'll cut off his snout to spite his face. He'd goose the point differential and piss off the opponent so that when it went south last season they were comin' after Porter & Gentry like they'd stole their cookie. He'd categorically refuse to call timeouts at opponent runs during the last season (the one he coached Daddy) because he didn't want to say "uncle."

He's like Nash= lots of symbolism, trace evidence of substance.

Nash "sniffed" a le in 2003 but Dirk fell to injury and Kerr hit fluke ass luck shots.

D Antonio, Nash, and SSOL sniffed a le in 2007 until a technicality suspended Amare. Even then they lost Game 5 in the final minute.

It was only the WCSF, but no way would they have lost to the Jazz or the Cavs.

Nash, greatest offensive player in the past 10 years
How come everything you say is mad biased and lacking any thought at all. Fukin dumbass mavs fans you guys make laker fans look like PhD's you stupidass ma as!
