they got a litle better from last season, but unfortunately other west team got ALOT better.
Or will they sink back to average-ness?

They will either lose against the Lakers or the Spurs. A Chauncey Billups led team gets to the Conference Finals and then loses.
Some talking heads are of the opinion that the Denver Nuggets are the second best team in the West.
I have a wait and see at ude with them. They are a better team but I want to see if they can rise to the next level.
They'll be about the same. Still a really good team.
Nuggets > Nuggets
They weren't even that good last year, they had a bunch of lucky ass close wins in the regular season.
Also they were a tiebreaker away from losing to Houston in the 1st round. had that happened I doubt people would be so high on them.
I see them winning 50-52. Could be wrong though, hard to get a read on the West personally.
I think they gonna be better than last year , but you never know!
No they wont be. They had the luxary of playing 2 non-athletic teams in New Orleans and Dallas. While they gave LA a good little fight, they got their asses beaten by 27 points at home in an elimination game which showed they arent truly on the Lakers level.
Add to that, they are a team that runs off emotion. If things don't go their way, they simply fall apart and implode. Melo is a damn good player but I question him as a leader. George Karl also coaches that team still.
If anything, Denver is the 3rd best team in the west behind LA and San Antonio.
No. George Karl is their coach. Dude should change his name to Don Nelson Jr. and the Nuggets should change their name to "early 90's Golden State Warriors".
another team that overacheived. just like the jazz, hornets, now its going to be them
Id say they got worse.
Billups got older and Kmart also got older they are in ther 32-34 age ranges, they also didnt do anything to improve except bringing in Ty Lawson. But you never know they might get better.
I think they're gonna be the next version of the Hornets, where they had one fluky season in 07-08.
Probably about the same. They won 54 games last season. They'll probably win somewhere around 48-55 games next season. I think Dahntay Jones will be missed at times. Afflalo is a decent defender, might be slightly better offensively, and could help take some of those minutes, but Jones is quite a bit superior athlete and a much nastier demeanor that was an effective form of irritation to opposing teams at times. And, if Linas Kleiza signs elsewhere, that further hurts their bench that is already losing a top bench scorer in JR Smith to the starting line-up.
I would say about the same as last year, but that might not be enough to get back to the WCF with several teams getting considerably better. They could end up being as good as last year but instead of a 2-seed, end up being anywhere from a 3-seed to a 6-seed and losing in the second round.
Denver will still be the same good team next season with Melo and Billups as their cores and a number of decent role players like Birdman, Nene, K-Mart and J.R. But remaining the same isn't quite enough to keep themselves at the same rank as last season, since their rivals like Mavs, Blazers, and Spurms all have improved alot by recruiting new muscles, though some old contenders have quitted the competetion because of losing their central players. Anyways the competetion will be much more violent and bloody in the western conference next season, but only three teams may probably make the NBA finals eventually, they are LA Lakers, SA Spurs and our beloved boys in blue.
