Shaq's prime was the three-peat of the Lakers. During that time you could've swapped O'neal to 1/3 of the other teams and whoever got Shaq would have won the championship.

I don't think anyone doubts that CP3 is more talented. But he is not the type of player that leads a team to a championship. PGs just don't do that unless they have other talents.

DW is Chauncy Billups 2.0. Better, stronger, faster. He has barely been in the NBA 5 seasons and is better than CB3 was in his prime right now. Everything except 3 point shooting. He is a better defender, a better inside player. His game translates into finals berths.

LOL ok so you put Duncan on those Lakers with Kobe Horry etc and they don't win? Yeah right ...I'm sorry cant believe i have to do this but Duncan>Shaq. I agree in Shaq's MVP year i would say it was the equal of Mj's DPOY.MVP year and Hakeem's MVP year and BOTH of those are better than Duncan's greatest year but there is a reason Duncan has more MVP's than both of those guys his consistent, continual greatness ...i would of traded SHaq for Duncan straight-up ...

Somehow, someway, someone who averages fewer points, fewer rebounds (even though he's three inches taller), fewer assists, has a worse field goal percentage, turns the ball over more, two fewer steals, and has a PER that's not even close to CP3's, is better than Chris Paul.

CP3 is the better PG, but Deron is the better all-around player. If I wanted a pass first PG then I want Paul. If I want a score/pass split I will go with Deron.

When they have met head to head...............Deron torches CP3, because of his size. I like Deron because he is a bigger SOLID point guard. CP3 is quicker, but in the long run Deron will end up with a better career. IMHO at least.

the Jazz have torched the Hornets ... Paul and William are neck and neck. go look at the stats yourself. neither of them have owned one another repeatedly and their stats are very similar head to head. now on the other hand, Boozer and the rest of the Jazz have absolutely dominated the other Hornets players.
