His contract becomes guaranteed at the end of the month. The Bucks have been shopping it around to a team looking to dump salary. It wouldn't be a surprise at all to see his contract get traded again.
Whoever ends up with him will waive Bowen by Aug. 1.
There is nothing sad about the situation of someone that has made millions playing the game of basketball, just because they might have to work somewhere not of their choosing. Many of us do that every day, at far less desirable jobs for a fraction of the pay.
Will we see..........
I had heard of a team that actually might want to keep Bowen. I think that is what he is afraid of.

That ugly Jersey isn't as disgusting as the black/white one which is exactly designed for funerals. Bowen won't turn anything more useful than Greg Buckner, and we have already got Greg as a garbage filler through the Marion trade. No way should we lose any talent for an extra garbage player unless it means getting rid of Matt Caroll's outrageous contract, but I don't think Bucks will trade an expiring garbage contract for a longer one.
