100% of fighters take roids? Really...
They are unable to find roids when almost 100% fighters takes them so they ban a fighter for weed ?
Strange as
Atencio did not pay the commision or what?
No they eat burgers and hot-dogs
I would be happy with Rogers or Werdum...
Or Babalu, just cuz I can't stand him...
The only reasonable replacements
you're not very smart
How do you know?
Got any tests for being smart?
If they don't get a "worthy" opponent Affliction is done for. Vitor Belfort making a verbal commitment doesn't do much for me. He doesn't stand a chance against Fedor. They better find someone good, but who?
what a cluster .
fedor is going to run him over. please sign with ufc fedor. please don't be a dana.
dunno how reliable this guy is but he is reporting it was steroids

Josh Barnett tested positive for Clostebol, an anabolic steroid
by Zak Woods on Jul 22, 2009 5:07 PM EDT in News 0 comments
Today the California State Athletic Commission released a statement surrounding Josh Barnett's reported "positive test."
Barnett's June 25 drug test came back positive for 2a-methyl-5a-androstan-3a-ol-17-one, an anabolic steroid. CSAC learned of the results July 21 and immediately denied a license for Barnett. CSAC also informed the promoter of Barnett's August 1 bout against Fedor Emelianenko that the bout would not be approved.
"The license of Josh Barnett was denied pursuant to rule 303 of le IV of the California Code of Regulations," said CSAC Interim Executive Officer Dave Thornton. "That rule prohibits the use of certain substances, including anabolic agents, by any boxer or MMA fighte
The actual anabolic steroid that Barnett tested positive for is Clostebol as 2a-methyl-5a-androstan-3a-ol-17-one is the metabolite of said steroid. Clostebol is actually a weak anabolic steroid. As with all steroid tests, they are not actually testing the for the drug itself but the metabolic waste in the urine of the athlete.
One study found that Clostebol metabolites, though not the one Barnett tested positive for, were found in athletes who had eaten meat from animals that had been treated with anabolic steroids. Another study found that incidental Clostebol contamination has been found in athletes after sexual intercourse, though for such a contamination to occur the individuals would have to be taking medication with trace levels of Clostebol.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not approve of the use of medicines that contain anabolic steroids.
Currently the CSAC is testing Barnett's "B-sample" to confirm the first test.
Josh Barnett was slated to fight WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emeilanenko at Affliction "Trilogy" in ten days. Affliction's VP, Tom Atencio, is currently in the process of finding a replacement.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you could be right. I didn't think about that.
I don't like it at all.

desflood was dead onto something
"Fabricio Werdum - One of Afflcition's biggest goals should be to find a heavyweight (or big light heavyweight) to replace Barnett. We've already seen Emelianenko fight someone coming up multiple weight classes to fight him, and it wasn't pretty. Werdum seems like the most logical choice. He's a legit heavyweight, he has some exposure from the UFC, and with his August 15th fight with Alistair Overeem being recently canceled, he should be in shape."
$100 says Dana knew he was still roiding and thats why he didn't sign him. Someone tipped him off.
Figured the weed report was bad...it didn't have much behind it...
I love Vitor, and want him back in the UFC so bad. I was really looking forward to his fight with Santiago. That being said...really Vitor, you may be a phenom, but this is Fedor. Might as well add another L to his record.
Losing to Fedor wouldn't hurt him...he has nothing to lose (aside from his health). Fedor has nothing to gain...
Too bad Josh couldn't have been busted after the event at least...
Vitor is about to get PAID desperate money by Affliction. I hope he doesn't go for a PPV percentage tho.
Yup
Gotdamn Afflition can't even cover their fighters!
