Question though, once again, is it worth it to have Manu + Jack in 2009, then only Jack and no Manu from 2010-2012, due to inability to afford Manu contract after this year?
We would be the clear favorite with the addition of Jax for some of our lesser players. An NBA le in 2009, then Jax instead of Manu from 2010 on through 2012? Hmmm.....

I agree 100% about Manu's worth and appreciate your comments you head. Unfortunate that we have to cuss each other out to have an "intelligent" discussion but whatever it takes. All these cliches about trolls and whiny girls, that is a bit tiresome but OK. It is not rude to defend myself against an unjustified attack in my opinion. Thank you for allowing me to shame you into removing those pictures, they are clearly present in the post I quoted and damn sure were irritating. Maybe you will succeed in permanently erasing them, but I am sure others know what I am talking about. So I hope you can get them permanently erased, that is the clutter on here that is far more irritating than any duplicate threads.large irritating pictures in my profile? I know everybody gets a hard on for Jax, and he's a great player..but we need someone who can get in the paint..Tony can't do it all by himself. Manu is a clutch player, and is a catalyst for this team...everyone knows that with a healthy Manu, we are a contender..if he's not healthy, we're in trouble. So why would we give that player up? And for someone who's going around telling everyone to stop being rude to people, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I never said one rude thing to you, and yet you feel the need to bash my posting. If you're going to start a thread in a message board, you have to learn to expect that not EVERYONE is going to LOVE your ideas, and because it's a message board, they are going to let you know how they feel. If you're gonna be a whiney little girl about it, don't start them in the first place. You already posted this in another thread, and nobody responded to it. This should give you an idea that nobody wanted to talk about it. In turn, posting it as it's own thread turns you into a. Then you tell everyone to get off their high horse, when in reality, you telling everyone what they need to do is getting on YOUR high horse. So please...stop doing what you want everyone else to stop doing.
What about trading our 2010-12 future for S Jax over Manu, so that 2009 might be a "lock" for a le? To me that is a hard question.
Somehow that assumes that the FO will not resign Manu, and that is asinine. The only way Manu is not re-signed is if he becomes physically unable to play, the Spurs go bankrupt or Manu comes up with a bad case of Iwanttoplayinternationalbasketballitis. If the first happens, then the Spurs will cross that bridge when they come to it, if the second happens, they can't even afford Jack, and if the third happens then something really bad happened between TimmyD, Pop and Manu, and it probably started when someone said something about Stephen Jackson coming back to the Spurs.
I won't argue that if you can get Jackson for Finley, Bonner, et al, then you do it...but only if you can afford it long term, and only if you think that he can fit in as the 4th, 5th or 6th option. But never in lieu of Manu...
Well I don't think in those better or worse poster terms, this is not a compe ion to me, its a discussion board about our favorite NBA team.

I didn't remove any pictures...if you're talking about the pictures on my sig, they will remain, just like everyone else's. They don't show up on every post in a thread...I will not delete them. If you have a problem with a picture of me and my wife in Jamaica, Roy Williams, The Spurs, and The Cowboys, don't read my posts...period. Your sig is supposed to be something that means something to you. If you don't want pictures in your sig, that's fine...but what you're doing is exactly what you're getting on other people for doing. You don't want people to bash your posts, yet you're bashing a sig? Come on dude...wake up and stop being hypocritical. No one has ever had a problem with my sig until you...and if you have a problem with people having opinions about threads you start, you don't need to be on a message board. Simple fact. If you put yourself out there and start a thread, people who disagree are going to let you know...that's part of being on a message board. If you want a bunch of yes men, you're on the wrong forum. I'll say it again..if you don't want to see the pictures..don't look. If you're anal about sigs, then once more, you're in the wrong place. People have a lot larger sigs than I do, and one person's shallow opinion isn't going to make me remove them. You're the first person in all the time I've had this sig that has a problem with it. You say this is supposed to be a forum about our favorite team, but the only thing you've discussed with me is my sig...that shows that you had no intentions of discussing our team. Your "feel sorry for me" routine isn't going to work. Some people on here have actual conversations with each other. THOSE people care about their personal lives. If you're not a part of it, that's fine. You can very simply turn sigs off and not have to see them, instead of bashing people for wanting to show what's important to them to people who they enjoy talking to.

URINEOBILI: I have an alternative suggestion. Anyone with more than 2000 posts should be banned & have to take 3 months off in rehab. URINEOBILE has posted an average of 200 times a day for 30 months. Get a life, wife, ho, full time 12 hour job, significant other or a dog. Instead of 1000 posts as the standard, why don't we all submit our SAT scores and sexual orientation. Thank God for the First Amendment!

Thanks. The ones that suck are the ones that cause the scroll wheel not to work because they are too big to fit in the frame. So I am scrolling down and then have to click and drag on account of some BS I don't care about. Right up there with the pop up ad to me.

I think you came in highly sarcastic at about the wrong time though, and my response was in line with that, nothing more. lol...not about denigrating me...calling me a head? What is that? I'm not sensitive about my signature..just don't think anyone has the right to tell me what I can and cannot do, when I am allowed to put what I want in it.
