Personally I don't do sushi, but I have been told by countless "experts" who try to force me to have some, that the California roll is a good starting place. I have also been told not to go near Zushi Sushi because that place is filthy.

Flo and I on a team together would be unbeatable.
I don't mind the rolls with rice, veggies and crab but I don't think I could eat anything with uncooked fish.
I had the y crab at Goro's...good stuff.
They have sushi combos which could be cool to try different things. I personally love hand rolls, either y Tuna or y Salmon. You cant go wrong with Philly Roll either. Usually each place has their own "specialty" rolls so you might want to experiment. Also try a piece of Unagi. Its Eel but its fan in tastic.
Its all Mental, you have to get passed all of that and then you will become addicted, trust me.
If you do try the sashimi, then I suggest starting with something easy like Yellowtail(hamachi).
My problem is with the seaweed. I just hate the flavor so that pretty much narrows down the options.
Sanddrrra...the y rolls at our HEB are fabulous. Try those. And RockSan by Earl of Sandwichs where Hollywood Video isn't too bad for first timers either. It's a cute little place.
WTF, it doesnt have much flavor, if thats all you taste then its your ed up tastebuds.
The only fish I eat in sushi is the smoked salmon. I still find plenty of things to eat, though. And most sushi restaurants will make you any roll you want.
It amazes me how popular HEB's sushi is. They are definitely doing something right.
I'm in no condition to do any kind of running. I lose my breath faster than a fat chick going up stairs.
Im on the fence with the decision. There are pros and cons on moving or staying. If I get the job then id be stupid to not take it.

Its convince. Its not bad sushi but its no where near good.

Just ask them to make it without seaweed. Any respectable sushi chef shouldn't have a problem making it any way you like.
It's not all I taste, I just don't like to eat things where there is a constant flavor of something I hate. Even if it's just lingering in the background.
