It's still a crime...and the NFL has said many times that punishment by the state is not the same as punishment by the NFL...you can't give these guys an inch..they'll take a mile.

Wish luck to ya....AFTER week 5.![]()
lets see he could go to the radiers with thier thug image or go to cleveland with thier dawg pound
it was also gambling.
A very desperate team will pick him up. I'm thinking either New Orleans or Seattle.
it is legal to gamble in vegas
Absolutely nothing to gain by suspending him for six games. All he's doing is making it harder for him to get on with his life. If he really wanted him to get his life back together he shouldn't have made it so hard for teams to sign him. He should have put the onus on Vick to get back in as quickly as possible and get down to work leaving all this behind him. Instead he complicated matters for any team that might have been interested in giving this guy a shot at coming back. What a ing power hungry asshole.
I agree. He's already been suspended without pay while he was in jail, I think he's been punished enough. I don't know what teams will be clamoring for his services, but with the comish suspending until week 6, it's going to make teams stay away. Unless, a team does what the Cowboys did with Pacman last year, and they get permission for Vick to participate with the team.
Roger Goodell has expressed many times that punishment by the law is not NFL punishment. Pacman Jones got suspended after serving time...so should Vick. And as for it being harder to get on with his life, he'll be able to play in preseason games, and do everything else when it comes to the team..just not play games. So if he can't move on with what they're giving him, he'll never move on.
well that would be a very good point.. if he had been in vegas and running a state certified operation. but he was in virginia. in fact, running a dog fighting operation would have even been illegal in vegas.
