Probably. I've heard they've been completely shut out in decision, then the democrats complain about not getting bipartisan support.

Hopefully, Obamacare is going the way of Hillarycare.

LOL @ always hearing what you want to hear...

The House bill that's being worked on is actually bipartisan... Rep Snowe is actually taking part of the negotiations...

For seeking to expand government run health care insurance? What was George W. Christ?

Ah, the Repugs are sniffling they've been shutout? After beating the out of and ignoring the Dems for 2000-2006?

As always, the wrongies love to dish it out, but aren't men enough to take it dished back at them.

Besides, if you are part of the committee, that's another thing. I guess I should have specified that republicans have a hard time introducing any amendments or bills.

As for what I hear ElNono. It's more reliable hearing from a talk radio host that is trusted than most information you can find on internet sites. Either way, it's someone else words. I could find a site I bet to support what I said, but does it mean you'll believe it anymore than without? I hope you don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Wouldn't it be the s if you had the White House and a veto-proof Congress and, still, you couldn't get your signature piece of legislation past 'em.

What do you think will happen to Blue Dogs if the Dems fail to pass healthcare reform? I'll give you a clue - think 1994. It's in their interest to show they've had a hand in crafting careful healthcare reform legislation that limits spending to some extent, otherwise they will play into Republicans' hands at midterms.

Oh well, if the Democrats don't mount a federal government takeover of the health care insurance industry when they have the chance, the Republicans will do it for them soon enough. Naturally, the GOP will do so under the guise of 'promoting freedom' or some other lame phrase which the terminally stupid like Cobra Commander and Yanni will believe wholeheartedly, and argue to the death for on the internets, like the true Web Warriors they are.

I'm sorry, but the OP specifically mentioned republicans (as opposed to rabid right wingers), the party Snowe represents.
There's actually two more republicans in that group, along with 3 dems.

Will the GOP name their socialist health care bill the "Health Care Services Freedom Act of the Year After Our Lord's Birth 2009"?

How about "The Freedom Isn't Free Act"?

"The Non-Socialist Health Care With Lots of Government Handouts Act"?

    "The Aetna-Pfizer-Humana-GlaxoSmithKline Act of 2009"?
