I always felt like Shaq and co. shortchanged stan for Riley after he did a pretty wonderful job with them in 05. I know the idea of having Riley was enticing, but Stan didn't deserve the boot errr resignation.

There's no need. It's Shaq.
Seeing Duncan & Daddy shufflin', pawin' & gripin' face-to-face ain't a visualization I care to see come to fruition.
Uh, thank you.
Good point dude.![]()
Oh ! I missed the regular season? How the did that happen?
dude cavs got much better getting Shaq, Anthony Parker and Moon.
and all boston did is sign sheed
Yet a overrated SG runs the point and Mike Brown is the head coach. Cavs a regular season team. Not build for the playoffs...
cavs are gonna get raped by the magic or celtics, sry.... lebron isnt gonna stay in Cleveland.
Yep, you can see both events comin' a mile away. They're both imminent.
Shaq - 4 les, 3 time Finals MVP, 1 time League MVP
Tim - 4 les, 3 time Finals MVP, 2 time League MVP
Duncan's career numbers
21.4 ppg on 50.7 percent shooting, 11.7 rpg, 3.2 apg and 2.4 bpg.
Shaq's career numbers
24.7 ppg on 58 percent shooting, 11.2 rpg, 2.6 apg and 2.4 bpg.
Teams were built around Tim Duncan. Shaq's teams were not built around him. Think about it. Even as Tim ages, the Spurs would NEVER trade him. He means too much to that organization. Shaq may be the most dominant, but Tim is the better player and more skilled, and that's what we're talking about here. He's a better passer, and is better at making his teammates better, and getting them involved. Tim has made Parker, Ginobili, and Bowen better. Shaq didn't make anyone better. He also has always needed another dominant player to win...Tim hasn't. Shaq also has missed the playoffs these last two years while Tim hasn't missed the playoffs in his career. It's also interesting how Shaq has shot 8 percent higher in FG percentage, but averages only 3 points more per game. Tim is more consistent.
Those are some bold predictions considering the season hasn't even started. I guess as long as Shaq can still make it up and down the court he will make the team better.
It'll be projected to be a Cavs/Lakers finals until LeBron leaves Cleveland, then people will make threads about a Knicks/Lakers finals
Not happening. Boston is going to run over the East this season. Expect a 70-12 season from the Celtics this year.
yeah right thats never gonna happen!
u must be stupid like prince james to this going to happened. its spurs and celtics.
lol you have a lot of trust in two old injury prone teams.
You have a lot trust in a soft team lead by a quitter?
bynum, gasol and odom will own Timmy
Let's get over this myth that Bynum has any talent. The only thing he is any good at is committing fouls. An improvement for Bynum would be to not foul out of a playoff game. If Bynum wasn't playing in Hollywood with the notorious rapist he would get no attention because he is such a lame player.
the only one you list even close to Tim is Gasol and even then. Duncan > Gasol
