How olds are you. This is really important. If I am wasting my time talking to some 13 year old girl well, it is a COMPLETE waste of time..OK

Idiot....Read the people who testified against Vick. I think 3-4 went to jail the rest walked off into the sunset. Watch the 60 minutes show about dog fighting they aired when all this went down..... If you are indeed being honest with yourself ( i think you are either some teenage girl or a true ing dumbass) you can't say with a straight face if they get caught they go to jail. Please have some humility and just go away.

How olds am I? What language is that? I'm 29 years old. And if you think that he's getting punished harder because he's a celebrity, you're the one who needs to realize how ignorant you're being right now. Those people who walked only walked BECAUSE they testified against the guy who started the whole thing. It was at his house that the fights occured. A man in Cottonwood, Alabama named Johnny Ray Lewis was sentenced to 102 years in prison for dogfighting back in 2007. 38 pit bulls died. The judge said it was a "mid range" sentence. He will most likely get out after 34 years, because most people serve one third of their term. Christopher Simmons in Dorchester County, South Carolina was given 16 years for dogfighting back in 2006. Vick did nothing less than these guys...and he only received 20 months in prison. At the same time, he showed no remorse initially...he did not even act remorsefully until he was sentenced. That's not going to help your situation with the judge. Wake up...it's a felony...he only got 20 months. He should be ecstatic. He broke the rules of the league as the highest paid player of the leagues highest profile position. He was going to get suspended...it's the rules. There'd be more outrage if he didn't.

I don't think Vick is crying about his suspension i'm sure he's just glad to be reinstated, and i'm sure Goodell was worried about feeling some heat if he just let Vick walk right back into the league. He doesn't want every dog lover and animal activist to cry foul and cause headaches for the league.

T.O has the right to voice his opinion. It won't help Vick's situation one bit, but maybe any future situations like this will be looked at more closely cause of it.

I agree that TO has the right to voice his opinion. I also agree it won't help Vick. I don't think it really matters what they think. Goodell laid the law down, and I, for one, am glad. Too many football players have been getting away with too much before Goodell came in, and he's doing a good job. Leonard Little killed someone while drunk behind the wheel, and then got busted for ANOTHER DWI. He still plays today. In my NFL, he'd be banned for life. That's just ridiculous. The NFL is not a right, it's a privilege, so no one can give me this, "he has the right to earn a living" bull . Yes...he does..go work construction. I hear the one Michael Vick was working for has an opening now.

Also, I'm tired of the race card being pulled here. Sometimes there is racial discrimination (Pacman Jones for instance), but he in plead guilty to a crime. I can't stand hearing, "If Peyton Manning and Tom Brady did this they wouldn't get the punishment he got."

Guess what, neither one of those two are dumb enough to risk an NFL career in order to run a dog fighting ring, so STFU until there is evidence to back that up.

Exactly...I didn't even know the race card was pulled. That's just BS...dude did it..period...he admitted it..has nothing to do with color. If you're stupid enough to do something like this, and waste a career in which you were the highest played QB in NFL history, you deserve everything you get.

When he first got indicted, Al Sharpton, being the attention he is, said that he was being persecuted because he was a black QB.

Lose what you pathetic ing bag? If the guy is in denial that ALL people who get caught dog fighting go to jail that is his business. Fact is they don't. bag.

Yeah because federal charges never apply to average joes? That's pretty much the stupidest comment I've seen in this argument so far. So with your logic, pretty much every felon was at one time famous
That's a dumb post. We are talking about jail time you stick and everyone who is found guilty of federal charges donot go to jail. I am still waiting for Wesley Snipes jail time. He was found guilty early this year and is still roaming the streets. He did not get probation. (Some dudes get probation stick when they get caught breaking laws)He actually got sentenced to 3 years and is still out.

I really have no clue how assholes like you walk the earth.Serioulsy, I know this is just a little example but can't you see everyone does not go to jail for crimes. For anyone to make that declaration is ing re stupid.

We are talking about dog fighting you pathetic loser. I would bet my left nut you never heard of anyone going to jail for dog fighting until Vick. That's because noone gives a . They settle this out of court or the feds look the other way. Why...It's ing dog fighting. Wake the up loser.

Wow..you've got serious issues. You say HE'S an asshole..you're the one who doesn't give a about someone electrocuting and killing a living creature...and he's the asshole? Talk about pot and kettle. Maybe YOU don't care about dog fighting, but some people do...and those are the people who put people behind bars. If no one gave a about it, it wouldn't be a felony, bag.

Look, I'm not gonna lie. Anyone who denies that there is some hypocrisy in our justice system is just blind. BUT, that is completely irrelevant considering we're talking about his punishment by the league.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Wesley Snipes appealed the ruling of whichever court was up first; and once you put yourself through our countries endless appeal system...it will be awhile before you go to prison.
