Don't worry, brah. Trainwreck listens to Hanson too. You're not alone.
To clarify this is a "bull , no way thread" meaning calling anyone out and talking trash is all good, and the thread is all about good times, fun. Just to remind you zosa
Im going to say in no order
Soundgarden
alice in chains
pearl jam
red hot chili peppers
AFI
metallica
NIN
I do have one that i might put up there but if i do it will just be made fun of sooo much so ill save it for another thread like "bands your ashamed to like" ha.
-well thats off the top of my head im sure ill be like F, i should've put them but can always change![]()
Don't worry, brah. Trainwreck listens to Hanson too. You're not alone.
LMAO, mmmbop-nice, yea its not that bad-well at least i dont think. Its one of those bands that we all really wanted a cookie for
, and everyone prob liked at one time but now people like to make fun of, but listening to their records recently realized hey they're good.
You stay the out of my ipod you son of a
sorry, metallica was on the way down by 1990
Metallica's best music is pre-1990. All their albums after ...And Justice For All are .
AFI, chili peppers and post 90's Metallica all suck balls.
You're telling me AFI wasn't that band?
What do you mean it might be AFI?? Ha, you obviously havent hear black saily in the sunset, or the art of drowning-plus sing the sorrow is a almost perfect album and then december underground is awesome. And no that secret "cookie" band isn't AFI, and yea I could easily replace metallica with say incubus or offspring but I put them in because of S&M-which was the best mix of a symphony and rock music ever created, you should listen. Anyways you should make your top 7! ha.
But like I said each name is subject to criticism. AFI is mostly known for their last album but sing the sorrow is amazing - a cd you listen to all the way thru-celluloid dream

I own S&M. I own every Metallica album up to and including S&M. And one good live album doesn't make up for 3 ty studio albums. Garage, Inc. is halfway decent only because it has Garage Days Re-Revisited in it's entirety. not to mention Lars Ulrich has become the bukkake boy for the RIAA.
By the way, my top 7 bands post "hair metal" (Christ I hate that term...)
Pearl Jam
NIN
Soundgarden
Tool
Alkaline Trio
HIM
The 69 Eyes
did you really have to type that
michael jacksons best music is pre 1985 too
It relates to the topic. WTF do you care?
who doesnt know that?
what demographic were you trying to communicate to?
How is it possible that no one has mentioned Nirvana yet?
nirvana and NIN both debuted in the 80s
You do understand the point of this thread, right? Metallica did their best during the 80's glam metal era. Everything post 1990 sucks balls. So for him to say Metallica is one of the top 7 bands from 90 to now is re ulous.
Nirvana was overrated. Pearl Jam and Soundgarden were better.
Except Nirvana's debut album was released in 1990. Good effort though.
ALICE IN CHAINS
Nirvana
(don't like too many bands late 80's)
LINK to where bleach was released in 1990?
Eifel 65
AFI
Hanson
Creed
Wow. Dude, you're completely right. That CD that cost 600 bucks to make really cemented them as a true "band of the 80s".
good effort though
naturally a band who debutes this year would be considered the band of the 2000's?
