Potential pick-up of the year after his trade.
    We'll see.
Didn't have to give up too much to make room on the roster.

Dude, I was hopi...uhmm thinking you were in an accident or somethin'!

I will make the playoffs- haven't lost in 6 weeks.

B.J. Ryan got the closers role taken away from him, he sucks. They outright released him. They didn't even ask for a bag or balls or a couple of bats, they just said see ya. That's how bad he is. He was signed by the Cubs, who have 2 guys behind their closer already and he shouldn't even worry about that because he will be playing in Iowa and not in Chicago.

All I'm saying is that it won't be GM of the Year move- as that move has already been made: Haren for Papelbon. You traded the house away for Grenkie who sucks now, as I have the best pitcher in the game. You can't claim GM move of the year when I have already made it

I can't really argue with that. Atrain had a man crush on Quentin and a week later he was horse glue.

OK, I see I was a little too optimistic this time.
Let's get a Yankee on my roster for the 1st time this season.

Just like last year he will have a of a 2nd half. I got him for my second half surge. Losing 4 guys to the DL in the beginning and I was still on top. You and Alamo are going to regret talking about the Q.

Nothing negative from me about the Q bro.
I know what he was doing before he got injured.

By the way, what's the use of tanking in a non-keeper league (Boogie Woogie's Nights)? Wouldn't the dough be better spend on Mandy?

He's not tanking, he just doesn't like day to day managing. He joined because we were short owners.

Bashers I don't know how the I took 5, especially since my pitching strategy didn't work worth a flip except in k's. Glad I got 5 though, it could have been a lot worse.

You guys were the Bashers on Saturday and Sunday. My guys tried to keep up but they were no match. You beating me by one percentage point in the OPB hurt. I hate losing categories like that.

no problem. I don't need him, Jones will be fine for a couple weeks then Hunter will be back. I have a log jam at my corners.

That's weird too...I didn't really think I had a chance at beating you in HR, probably your best offensive category, especially when I had Berkman on the DL. I was going for steals, probably my best offensive category, and I wound up losing steals and winning HR instead. Go figure...

If it makes you feel any better...there was no way you should have won W this week. I started about 10 more pitchers than you did and still ended up losing by 1. I had horrible luck in pitching this week. Even my k total was piss poor considering how many pitchers I started.

Don't worry, we will. He'll make a fine bench warmer to close out the season with.

Our self proclaimed GM of the year just missed 3 homers from McCutchen as he was benched.

    Cost you 2 points Hanger!
Dude, McCutchen ranks 62 this month and you put him on the bench???
