lol obsessed with Dallas
lol pissed that your stupid fan base is being called out for nut hugging a scrub with no future.
Eh, he's got some speed and is good for a big play or two but nothing more than that, thats my stance
My guess is 90210 and Manufan10 expect him to lead the NFL in receiving yards and touchdowns this season.
Well than they'd be idiots because Hurd is the one that is actually impressing everybody at camp. If all four of our receivers (RW, Hurd, Austin, Crayton) can stay healthy i think we will be fine with our other weapons. but they will likely find their way on the DL thats why i want a Toomer or Matt Jones
Hurd will have a 1400 yard season and be 2nd only to Austin in receiving yards. Meanwhile lil Romeo will break Dan Marino's all time passing yards record.

check out the video in my sig. He's a riot![]()
Austin looked quite promising last year before he got hurt. Is he going to be an all-pro this season? Probably not, but according to the most recent evidence he was far from being terrible. It doesn't seem like too high an expectation to think he can contribute.
Your guess is wrong, DoK...I've been going to camp, and while Austin has been decent at best, Hurd has been the guy who's been the brightest. Roy Williams has sucked horribly, even getting hit so hard today by Scandrick that his helmet went flying..it was sad. Not sure where everyone got that I'm a Cowboys homer. I'm critical as of this team. Only time I stand up for them is if someone says they suck..or they're the worst team in the league..because even THEY know they're full of . What I don't ing understand is everybody is bashing our receivers...our game this year is going to be running the ball...and NOBODY has a 3 RB tandem like we do this year...that you can bank on.
The Cowboys also have two TEs that are pretty good. One way or another, the lower Roy Williams ranks the better they're gonna be.
But like I pointed out in another thread, you don't have a coordinator that will be run first. Sure he says the right things but has yet proved he can make the proper adjustments from game to game or even from season to season. He said that about the running game last year. And don't give me that T.O. bull . A real coach wouldn't give two s about what he says.
Yes...Garrett has been about pass first. But at the same time, he's been working on his playbook. You can see it at camp. Of course he has yet proved he can make the adjustments...he hasn't had a game yet. Last year, their concept was throwing the ball, and Tony Romo. This year, it has become running the ball. I'm just going by what Garrett and Phillips are saying. We'll have to see if it's true.
Nice talking out of your ass there son. None of my posts can you even suggest that I'm a big time homer to think that Austin would lead the NFL in any category. Do some research before you make idiotic posts. I think Austin will have a better season, but that's because he's going to be more involved in the offense. He'll have a career year for sure, but that's not good enough to rank up high on the list of receivers. Like everyone else has said, Hurd has been the most impressive in camp so far.
14 catches would be a career year for Austin. That's not saying a damn thing.
Good god. Like I've said before. That's what happens when
1. you're injured
2. you're a #3 receiver
3. you're #1 receiver wants the ball every damn play
He also averaged over 21 yards per reception last year, as well as 3 touchdowns...the guy is fast as , and has great hands. Not saying he's going to be great next year, but I can guarantee you that unless he's injured, he'll have more than 14 catches this year.
÷1
I kidd I kidd
Isn't that what I basically said? I said he would have a career year, but it wouldn't put him anywhere close to a leader in the NFL.
He might. It didn't look like it though last season when he was able to stay on the field. But its not like he was a first round pick. If an undrafted guy out of Monmouth can contribute 300-500 yards I'll be happy with it.
+10000000
But I'd like to see more than 300-500 yards, to be honest. He got almost 300 last year on 13 catches. We'll have to see...I've been going to camp, and I actually have a pretty good feeling about him. Hurd is having a great camp as well, and our defense has REALLY been good..
he hasn't really played enough to tell. nice poll.
