is there a chance to bring in Big Country Bryant Reeves?
Is there a conspiracy for the Spurs to sign players from the 1995 NBA draft?
EVIDENCE:
Antonio McDyess (2nd pick)
Damon Stoudamire (7th)
Kurt Thomas (10th)
Cherokee Parks (12th)
Eric Williams (14th)
Brent Barry (15th)
Theo Ratliff (18th)
Michael Finley (21st)
Corey Alexander (29th)
Rasheed Wallace (attempted)
So we have 9 of the 29 first round picks. I find that highly su ious!

is there a need for your over-used boldness? I think we can all read fairly well, but you raise an interesting point.
ELAINE: No, no.. but it is quite a coincidence.
RAVA: Yes, that's all, a coincidence!
ELAINE: A big coincidence.
RAVA: Not a big coincidence. A coincidence!
ELAINE: No, that's a big coincidence.
RAVA: That's what a coincidence is! There are no small coincidences and big coincidences!
ELAINE: No, there are degrees of coincidences.
RAVA: No, there are only coincidences! ..Ask anyone! (Enraged, she asks everone in the elevator) Are there big coincidences and small coincidences, or just coincidences? (Silent) ..Well?! Well?!..

9 in the pocket and 20 to go...
Notice this interesting pattern:
2, 7, 10, 12, 14, 15, 18, 21, 29
Now, group them like this:
2 + 29 = 31
7+ 21 = 28
10 + 18 = 28
12 + 15 = 27
14 x 2 = 28

stays with different teams until 09:
Antonio McDyess (5)
Damon Stoudamire (4)
Kurt Thomas (7)
Cherokee Parks (8)
Eric Williams (7)
Brent Barry (6)
Theo Ratliff (7)
Michael Finley (6)
Corey Alexander (4)
making it 54 stays with teams (9 of them with the spurs)...divided by 14 (years) making it nearly 4 different stays a year...at one point they had to come to us![]()
Why not KG?
what do you want to say with that?...if if you take the biggest and smallest number of such a stat, you always will get somehthing like that (unless we had the first 8 guys and the last one)
who is that KG guy?...I want BR!!!
We still need to get Joe Smith, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace, Kevin Garnett, Bob Sura.
Just for reference, here is who is still out there....
1995 NBA Draft

Question:
Has any one team ever employed 9 different players from the first round of any single NBA draft?
If no, then the conspiracy is still on!

Where is ChumpDumper when we need him?
:-)
will be hard to check...but if so, it has to be in the last 15 years with some players playin fo 10-12 teams in their career...in the 80s and earlier there hasnt been so much dealing and weeling by the teams, I believe
Eric Snow was one of those guys that I could never believe wasn't a Spur at some point during Pop's tenure. Just seemed like they would have fit well together. As for why Ostertag didn't come here, let's just say that Timmy holds a grudge. Also, because he sucked.
have to agree on Snow...maybe it was coz we had Doc Rivers at one point and I always confused them
(I think Snow should coach too)
Nice find.:
We've also signed at least one player from every NBA Finals opponent we've faced.
1999 Kurt Thomas & Charlie Ward
2003 Jeff Richardson
2005 Antonio McDyesss
2007 Drew Gooden
Shoud we sign Jerry Stackhouse and team him up with Finley?
That would be a killer duo!![]()
i think its because the spurs like people of a certain age group, and if u assume the average age of entering the nba to be 21 .. 1995 draft would make them 35 ... or there and ther abouts ... which prob is how much a cheap vet would cost, and the spurs FO loves cheap vets....
On second thought, it is legal for the Spurs to sign as many players as they want from the '95 draft; so it's NOT a conspiracy!
Richard Jefferson??
