Anyone who believes that a Kidd/Dirk/Howard big3 is leading to a championship is dreaming. YES, they beat us last in the first round. It was a predictable outcome once Manu was gone. ONLY brag when both teams are playing even. Tony/Tim/Manu way> Kidd/Dirk/Howard at all three positions. The Spurs look for players who fit into their system. The Mavs seem to seek out players who other teams don't want[Gooden, Marion]. Finally, I don't understand the kind of relationship Cuban & Nelson have. I hate Mavs esp. when Marc Cuban do always trade his player for another star, like Antonie Walker-Jason Terry, Antawn Jamison-Jerry Stackhouse, Jerry Stackhouse-Shawn Marion and many more but I think the worst is Devin Harris-Jason Kidd. I'm not going to surprise if they will trade Jason Terry to another star someday or even Josh Howard and Dirk Nowitzki. I'm a Spurs' fan but Dallas Mavs is also a good team and a team to beat since 2003 but the problem is, I think is Marc Cuban.
