    Its true, anyone who thought the spurs were winning it all last year was clearly delusional. I watched the playoffs hoping for a miracle but it didnt happen. In any case, Pop's right as usual, and has responded by doing something about it. What more can you ask for?

    I don't think any Spur fan had any misconceptions about our chances last season. We knew it would difficult just to get to the WCF let alone win the whole damn thing. The Spurs had health issues all year long and we had Bonner starting, but we are fans...and like most fans we were hoping for a miracle.

    Jesus, how old are some of you?
    I honestly don't care who roams around in the NBA forum, whether its laker fans or mav fans or even that 1 guy who roots for the Blazers.
    If it were just a "spurstalk" the site would be absolutely boring. Look at spursrport.com for example.

    And this surprises any of you how? Popovich went on record multiple times last season, including in interviews where LA hadn't even been brought up and times Manu was healthyish, that the Spurs were not as good as the Lakers.

    He's sticking to his story. Nothing more, nothing less.
