    Here would be mine:

    PG-Parker/Johnson
    SG-Gervin/Ginobili
    SF:Elliott/Bowen
    PF: Duncan/Rodman
    C:Robinson/Gilmore

There are a lot of great players in Spurs history and its hard to break it down to just a few. Its hard to leave guys like Willie Anderson, Alvin Robertson, Johnny Moore, and the likes off the team, but this would be my selection as the All Time Spurs best team.

Pretty good list, but I'd swap out Avery for Johnny Moore, Bowen for Mike Mitc and Rodman for Larry Kenon.

    Gervin/Ginobili/Robertson
    SElliot/Mitc /Bowen
    Duncan/Kenon/Jones
    Robinson/Gilmore/Nater

Silas was definitely the 2nd best point guard in Spurs history. Mitc had a stretch where he was awesome...same w/ Kenon. Rich Jones was a 3 time ABA all star (and my neighbor, so I have to give him some love)

12-man rotation, this line-up is pretty common sense. Look at the guys not on the list. We are very blessed to have had such a remarkable history.

This team would go 82-0 ;-)

Elliott was not as good, defensively, as Bowen, but he wasn't exactly a slouch either. Offensively, Elliott is far superior to Bowen. You know when Bruce has a shot on the wing and a defender rushes him, so he drives to the basket for a missed layup? Sean actually made those shots and sometimes dunked them.
Plus, he helped us win a championship on two bum knees and one good kidney.

No one would take a 35 year old Dominique Wilkins on their bench?

I'm calling you crazy. Kidding aside, Bowen is definitely someone I would want on my team, because he is/was a phenomenal defender. But Elliott's overall game, especially his offensive skills, earn him the starting job IMO. Although Sean's defense was not on par with Bowen's, I always thought his defensive skills were never given enough credit.

Allot of Spurs fans have no idea how good Larry kenon really was. Also, Michael Jordan said that Alvin Robertson was one of the most difficult players for him to play against.
It is hard to tell how good Silas would have been had he not gotten hurt. The same could be said for Johnny Moore.

I am being serious here, you wouldn't want an NBA legend (admittedly in the twilight of his career) that provided 18/7 for this club in the year that he was here on your bench (even though that year was painful at best)?

It kills me not to put Bowen on this team, but I figure if I have a healthy Duncan and Robinson in the post, I'm not as worried about penetration.

If I can have a 12-man rotation, I'm adding Bowen and TC.
