I think the Red Sox will win tomorrow with Beckett but no way they win the Buchholz vs. CC game. Buchholz is about as bad as Smoltz at this point.
The Yankees beat the Boston idiots in the 1st game. Now I hope they beat them in all the other games they ever play.

I hate the Yankees but I need them to keep beating the Red Sox because the Rangers are in the wild card hunt with them and just two games back after tonight. GO RANGERS! go yankees!
This is where having more than 2 reliable starting pitchers would come in handy.

I thoroughly enjoy watching the Red Sox Yankees cause no matter which team loses I'm happy cause I hate both teams so much.
The Sox just gotta weather the storm while Wakefield and Dice-K are out. Because after Beckett and Lester....comes Bucholz who is ok, and then Smoltz and Penny who both suck big donkey balls. The Sox know how to win when it comes down to it, we're still 8-1 vs. the Yanks this season. No prob.....

Man the Sox are playing awful and the Yanks are hitting their stride. Losing Friday was vital for the time being. We will get swept on national tv tomorrow night.
Such are the tribulations of following the team. Almost every season they start out ahead and get hit by injuries and bad streaks. Even in the playoffs they generally have to fight their way back into a series. It's not terribly surprising, but they still have a pretty good chance at the Wild Card.
One guy on Baseball Tonight was adament that the MLB should have two Wild Cards in each league. I have to say, it doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. You would have 10 teams in the playoffs, still a far cry from the NBA which invites more than half the league.
