Hmm, her hubbyis doing sports in Austin. That would be a commute (used to do it in my younger days when I-35 traffic didn't suck so majorly).
I heard on The Zone 1250 AM Friday that V. Macias is gonna be doing segments on Great Day SA again.

Bikinis and beaches! Vanessa of World Car fame gets new show
I still get desperate messages from viewers who miss Vanessa Macias (now Vanessa Ballou) of the traffic-stopping figure who was known both for her World Car commercials and adventurous reporting on "Great Day SA."
Well, Ballou, 28, will soon be seen in a new gig on San Antonio's Fox station. She'll be hosting the San Antonio-produced "Vamos!" -- a new show that should take all the fear out of traveling to Mexico. It will air on KABB at 6 p.m. Saturdays, starting Oct. 10.
Produced by former "Great Day SA" helmsman Luis Muñoz, the half-hour will showcase spectacular resort areas of Mexico and the Caribbean, such as Cancún, Playa del Carmen and Cabo San Lucas.
Oh, and yes, to answer your question, Ballou, who's married to KENS-turned-Austin sportscaster Bob Ballou, should be knocking 'em dead once again - this time in bikinis on Mexican beaches.
