when/if he comes back healthy from the long summer and about six months of not playing anything at all. I heard Manu recently joke about this so it got me to thinking how long will it take to get back into condition and get back to playing like he does? I know that long breaks in the past have hurt him.

He has plenty of time to take it easy IMO. He'll be fine.
He has all season to adjust, so it shouldn't be a problem.
In another thread, there was a quote where Pop said he wanted Tim to start the season out of shape. I think he wouldn't mind if Manu did, too.
I don't think it will take long for Manu to lose the rust.
Just as rusty as everyone else that starts the season. He'll be fine. People forget that before he ed up his ankle in the 2008 series against the Lakers, he was having his best season as an NBA player.
His exercises started 30 days ago. HeŽll be ok.
He has 82 games to get the rust out of his system.
you think he will not miss a game to injure this year?
Manu is supposed to be ready for full action by the time training camp starts correct?
He's gonna be a bit rustido, but nothing to worry about
That's the last we heard.
as rusty as everyone else, except parker because he is only one playing int ball. That's why he have the preseason.
Just like every shooter, after about 10 games he will be back to 100% healthy and shooting at his best.
No Ducks, who said anything about him not missing a game this year? My comment made the point that it is a long season consisting of 82 games and there is plenty of time and enough games for him to get ready .
this is what i would have written, so it must be right.
