ugh...not very...it was a real grind. My biggest trout landed was only 22" but that was still enough to win the $350 big trout pot...kind of embarrassing really...this is the first time in over two years I didn't have a 25+ trout on the stringer after fishing all day...It was what we call the "August bite"..the big trout get really lethargic...I actually had at least a half dozen big trout that took the bait but just held it instead of swallowing it..I was giving them huge time after the bump to swallow the croaker (like 10 seconds) but they would just carry it...I would go to set the hook and they would hold on to it and "fight" for 6 or 8 seconds (long enough to know I had a good one on) and then open their mouth and let it go...very frustrating...

Usually anything past the 3 day forecast is useless in terms of hurricane prediction.
