    YOU
You are a disgrace to all Americans. All people like you that all you do is bash other cultures, other peoples, other places, other countries. You probably live in a dumpy trailer park on the border of US-Mexico.
Kind of like how all you do is praise Greek and bash American?

LOL. Can we just have Dr House post more? At least he is not a blatant hypocrite.

Your "BEST health care" used to be great and attracted millions of people from other countries to immigrate into US, which included your parents or grand parents. But someone is trying to destroy this health care system that used to work damn well, and the name of that guy is Hussein muthafukin Osama.
And we have a winner for biggest asshole (and also the dumbest) in the thread. Congrats on beating out KBP. Dude this is a basketball forum, don't bring politics in.

7 of the 14 teams in the top Greek league play in arenas with capacities of 2500 or less. Last season's 5th place team plays in this palace:

Panellinios Indoor Hall has 800 permanent seats and a retractable stand behind one of the baskets. It was once open-air and was covered in the late 1970's. It is home to the basketball, volleyball and handball teams of Panellinios, one of the oldest sports clubs in Europe, founded in 1891.

    Can you read?

I will quote my own post again for you:

They played 13 home Greek League games in their own small 1200 seat arena and they played 6 home Eurocup games in the large 15000 seat arena.

Or do you deny that they played more than two thirds of their home games in a small arena?

You are a ing idiot. Their arena is the Olympic one. The rules of ULEB you must have 10,000 arena for Euroleague and 5,000 for Eurocup. They are a EUROCUP team.

The small arena is the arena that the team itself owns. You are a ing idiot. The way some of you NBA fans talk about foreign leagues you would be claiming practice facilities for NBA teams if opposite was true.

Actually there are MANY state of the art basketball arenas in Athens. You know they were built for the 2004 Olympics. This whole thing about the arenas in Greece is really ing pathetic how arrogant and ignorant American NBA fans act.

your numbers are wrong, as usual.
    (not that you would care)
less than half of the 30 Euroleague teams have an arena with 10.000+ seats.
some have even smaller arenas than 5.000. (Oldenburg, Ventspius)
and there are about 6 or 7 arenas, that are only slightly bigger than 5.000 seats.
(and no, they are not all currently building a brand new high end 20.000 capacity arena, as you usually claim when proven wrong about this issue).
    loser!

and KBP wonders why nobody likes him. Maybe if he could make a post without bashing Americans and telling the board to off, he'd get a better response.

    Ok, probably not...

BTW, that arena is bush league.

Well, Greek teams use the Olympic facilities for their games but they do not own the Arena. Some of the smaller teams use small gyms as their arena with about 1.500 seats. Those teams play in the Olympic Arenas - Stadia.gr does not mention them as they have no connection to the teams.

Still, without the Olympics, those teams would still play in barns.

    They still do.

The example I gave, Panellinios, is a team from Athens. They have access to the Olympic facilities and played their six Eurocup home games in one of them.

They played their 13 Greek League home games in their own 1200 seat facility. From the team website:
    http://www.panellinios-bc.gr/homeDet...625,44,00.html

Just as well that they do. According to the boxscores provided by KBP, the attendance for their six Eurocup home games (including two games against other Greek League teams) is as follows:
    600
    300
    500
    550
    200
    500
