I'm a guitar player, what do you think? Rap is only good for soloing over with blues scales.
I play a little guitar. Rhythm mainly..I'm a singer tho...I like rap...not all of it, but some of it.

I'm not big on rap or pop really. Like I said rap is only good for soloing over with blues scales and pop is only good for covering in a grunge rock style. I can make even the lamest pop song sound good by either changing the key or coming up with a kick ass strum pattern for it.

I hope so...they can't seem to fix the damn QB sneak glitch tho..that's the one that really pisses me off. It's almost a guaranteed yard every time. I was able to stop it today,but most of the time, it's a definite gain.

When I'm sober I don't listen to anything that came out after 1997. Maybe 1999. Music died with mp3 file sharing, because then the record companies started pandering to the lowest common denominator, which at the time was 12 years olds with hardons for Britney Spears and other similar bull because those kids were buying records while the rest of us were downloading "Jimi Hendrix - Full Discography [320kpbs MP3].torrent." That's just how it went down and that's probably the single reason I still pay for music. We killed it. It's our fault.
Mostly classic rock (pre-1980s), lots of late 60s/early 70s like Zeppelin, The Who, Boston, Steve Miller Band, The Doors, Hendrix, Cream, CCR... pretty much any rock style with a heavy emphasis on blues. As far as what I've been playing recently I ventured into learning some punk styles for a little bit and bailed on that pretty quick. Power chords all day long? No thanks. Been polishing my Zeppelin songs this week.
When I'm high I pretty much listen to whatever's on especially if I'm tripping. I'll listen to some nasty techno when I'm halfway thru an acid trip. Like that band MGMT... when I'm tripping they're cool but when I'm sober they're gayer than Justin Timberlake.
