are you there? If not, how do you know? You can't judge it by a television, man. You have to be there.
while I think the building is impressive I am not digging it for game action, it looks like a bigger than usual basketball arena and I really don't see any advantage for the team. The giant scoreboards look comical and are way too low.

Where are you? I am watching on my tv and that's my opinion.
I'm at home, but I'm not judging a stadium by watching it on television.
I am! I love the building It looks amazing I just don't think (in my opinion) it is a place where home field advantage will mean anything, like FED-EX Field!!
lol judging a stadium's "in game action" without being in the stadium
I know right? I guess watching on tv don't mean .
No, it means you can't tell if it has good "in game action" without experiencing it personally. You can't really tell from watching it on tv.![]()
OK..gotcha...but they were saying the way that field was set up..with the acoustics and everything...if that crowd gets rocking...and with over 80,000 people, it will, it will be REALLY hard to hear.
Ok.. I think I got what you're saying now.![]()
I like the $35 dollar ticket idea. It's sort of like standing in the Spurs Fan Fiesta and the AT&T Center. You can stand in a section and watch the game with a pretty good view. And if the action is too far for tired eyes, you can just glance up at one of the side screens, which (while not as impressive as the 60 yarders) are still great for viewing game action.
yeah...I have a feeling that stadium is going to be crazy for home games this year.
Well I just got back from the game...let's just say that screen is a lot bigger in person. Couldn't....take...my....eyes....away! Every single break in action, the cheerleaders were on that screen. Lemme tell you, it was simply awesome. Can't go wrong with a 30 yard huge cheerleader right in front of you.![]()
I'd definitely take the advice of someone who was there over anyone who watched it on TV..thanks for the info. I really hope to somehow get there this year. I'm the biggest Cowboys fan I know, but have never been able to go to a game. Dad got a terminal illness when I was really young, so we never got to do those kind of things. I'm hoping I can get to a Monday night game this year since I work on weekends. Congrats bro...I'm glad you enjoyed it...and I'm jealous. lol
still a bunch of kinks to work out. I was there tonight and there were no stats put up. The videos were just giant tv's that weren't utilitzed for nothing more than what was going on the field. No ring of honor yet. No banners yet. The stadium is open and you see everything the moment you walk in. The only bad part is you cant walk around the stdium. You have to stay in your designated area. Meaning if your tix are on the end you stay on the end you can't walk around the perimeter of the stadium. The concessions need work too. Most are still ill-equipped to handle the traffic. Some were running out of food and others were understaffed. Not as intimate as Texas Stadium but when they work everything out, I'm sure it will be better.
I hope you get to go to a game this year too. It really is a sight to see.
Yeah, they needed to have the amount of time left in the Q on the big screen. I had to look at the small scoreboard in the corner to check the time. But as far as the turf goes, this is just the preseason turf. The real turf, with the star, along with the ring of honor and all that jazz will be introduced for the Giants game.
Also, did you notice at times when the music started playing weird? Like the music would just sometimes be played in fast foward and the chipmunk voices could be heard. LOL
And what happened to the PA Announcer from Texas Stadium? This guy was worthless! He called Patrick Crayton Deon Anderson, and Anderson isn't even healthy. And he called Felix Jones, Julius! WTF was that??
I just got done watching it on TV too and it looks freakin awesome but I guess I need to go there and make sure.
Wish they were mine, but I pulled them from another site. I'll be there this season though for the philly game. Hope you can make it out to one.![]()
sweet O-Factor, I see you are a member of Cowboys-Forum! Who are you?? Those are my pics, I was just gonna put some of em over here. I'll post some more, but feel free to post any you want and anywhere you want.![]()
Neat little blue lighted entrance way the players go through before coming out into the stadium.
