    no you said the bet was Spurs win season series AND advance further in the playoffs than the Mavs. So BOTH things have to happen for you to win.

    I don't think it's a very good bet. What if the Spurs meet the Lakers in the 2nd round, and the Mavs meet someone else, and they both lose? Then you lose your bet because the Spurs did not advance FURTHER than the Mavs.
