Things are going from bad to worse for the Laker with the headband. Just a couple months after going 0 for the NBA Final, Sasha Vujacic has been cut by the Slovenian national team as it prepares for Eurobasket next week.
Think about that for a second — Vujacic is not one of the 12 best players in Slovenia now. If the NBA had a “cash for clunkers” program the Lakers might be getting in line.

It's not really funny, it's common knowledge the guy sucks major ass.
It's funnier when his home country acknowledges it and takes action, though.

Yeah, he hurt his knee a little while ago so I guess that held him back. He sucks regardless but I'd assume him being injured had something to do with being cut. If not

I will repeat myself for the 9999th time... I don't understand what he is doing in the NBA.
He is supposed to be a shooter, a good shooter. CHECK OUT HIS % during this last season... he SUCKS! And he didn't have any major health issues.
90% of all the role players in the NBA suck. The average NBA role player is not good enough to make a good Euroleague roster or a good European national team roster.
This is why NBA fans are the most re ed of all sports fans on Earth. They actually believe this crazy fantasy that all NBA players are better than any players anywhere else. It is laughable to say the least.
The NBA has like 20% of its players being good (many among the best in the world and of course most of all the best players of world) but the other 80% of NBA players are very VERY VERY bad and not as good as the average Euroleague player for example not even by quite along margin.
And funny.
There is NBA level talent for half, perhaps 2/3 (if you really stretch it) of the 30 NBA teams.
The Lakers would cut him too if they could save money by doing it.

They did that the last time. That's why he didn't want to play for the National team for years, and now when he comes as a NBA player, he gets cut.
And yet a scrub like Von Wafer, who has never made more than the NBA minimum and may not have even been able to get that much this year, is able to secure a multi-year multi-million contract to play for an elite Greek Euroleague team. Why is Olympiacos paying so much money for an NBA castoff when you say there are so many better and cheaper European players available? Do they really believe he is worth all that money or are they not as good at evaluating talent as KBP?
sad thing is that probably his contract was what made Ariza leave...
Had nothing to do with it. Buss could have Odom & Artest OR Ariza. That was the only choice. Buss made Ariza leave so Odom would have his "wish." That's why Buss got a discount off Odom. Part of Odom's deal was teaming with Artest. He wanted Arty. He got Arty. And he got less money. Once Buss ran Ariza off...it was over.
