I agree...Sasha is a ______ fill in the blank.
that's not what he's saying. Sasha's big contract would be better served given to Ariza
I agree...Sasha is a ______ fill in the blank.
That's pie-in-the-sky. When Sasha got his contract Ariza was injured and The Machine was producing.
of course there was no knowing that then, but now he's wishing that the money was spent on Ariza instead. I think that's the only point he was making, that money could have been used on Ariza instead.
Spanoulis is better than ANY player the Spurs have.
You are a ing moron. Just like Pargo and Childress Wafer will be much worse in Euroleague than in NBA.
Even you have to know that is a lie. You should be banned for the lies. You are racist against the Spurs.
So why do they get offered so much money if the Euro's are better? Are these American's the lowest paid players on the team? Or in the league? Where did Childress's pay rank in the Europe?
Well, thats akin to wishing Manu hadn't a played in an international exhibition game and got injured.

Agent Jim Tanner said Wednesday the three-year deal was worth about $20 million after taxes. The money is guaranteed, and Childress can opt out of the contract after each year.
The deal is the most lucrative current contract in European basketball and the biggest in Euroleague history, according to the Atlanta Journal-Cons ution, which first reported the signing. It follows the decision by top prep prospect Brandon Jennings to sign with an Italian club team rather than play a season at Arizona.

This says that at the time it was the biggest contract in Euroleague history. If he is not the best player, why would they pay him like it? Are the owners dumb or are the players already there not good enough to get those contracts?
Childress did not even make the THIRD team of the all Greek League awards and did not even make the 4th team of honorable mention. In Euroleague he was not even given a single one vote by the media and coaches to be just even nominated to have a chance to even try for all Euroleague teams.
Please stop the comedy routine here. I guess according to you last year Marbury was best player in the NBA or maybe Steve Francis? After all they made so much more money than other NBA players it must be a simple fact then.
And Spanoulis is definitely better than any player on the Spurs roster. Manu = washed up. Spanoulis is a better version of Parker and Duncan is nearing being washed up and not close at all to what he used to be. No one else on Spurs roster is even in same discussion with Spanoulis.
The best player?
OMG you think Childress is the best player in Europe? WTF are you on drugs? He was the 8th man on Olympiacos last season.
Spanoulis is a scrub.
His horrible performance in the NBA proves it.

I am not disagreeing with you that Childress was not great in Euroleague. My question was why did they offer him the largest contract in Euroleague history if he was not near the best player?
Spanoulis is no where near the level of Parker, Richard Jefferson, Duncan or Ginobili when healthy. Be real. Spanoulis is a good player, but be honest.
Doug Collins, Coach K, and Mike D'Antoni also said at Olympics that he would be the best point guard in the NBA if he got a fair coach. But you are smarter than them about the issue right?
You are misunderstanding. I never said he was the best. I said "if he was not the best player, why was he being paid like it?"
Was that a mistake or are Euro clubs stupid?
You are in a fantasy and delusion. Seriously no wonder your posts about Greek or European basketball are so ridiculous. I won't even bother wasting time arguing with you about it anymore.
Also, comparing Childress to Francis is not the same. At the time, Francis was a very good player and he still was not the highest paid.
Childress got the biggest contract in the history of the Euroleague knowingly not being the best. Why?
Why can't you answer the question? I think Childress sucks in Europe. But why did the owners give him so much money? It seems like a waste. Why can you not answer a simple question?
You are making the funnies!
