I had them losing 2 games this season regardless. With this, I think they lose in the SHOE now. It's cool though. He's a freshman
its not cool. this is a team, remember? i trust Pete, but i don't think this was the best move...would have gone with Mustain as of now. but, it could change going into the ohio state game...

are you smoking crack? you won't find a team with better players on both sides of the ball. they needed a solid QB...i think Mustain was that. i hope the freshman proves me wrong...its going to be tough.
This is a ballsy move......but ...if he's that f-ing good, I am scared what he is going to be like when he gets some experience under his belt.....
I don't think the team has a QB good enough to take them to the where they need to go. The team is good enough but you need a QB. Corp might have been the guy but it certainly wont be Mustain or Barkley, at least for this year.
After the diva act Mitch Mustain pulled at Arkansas, it's nice to see him failing miserably.

Actually, I would consider the "real" rose bowl the one not being played for the national championship. I think you mean the BCS Championship Game at the Rose Bowl.

The closest thing to success with a freshman QB at a big time school was UT's 2006 season, then everything crumbled like a house of cards when Colt got knocked out of the K State game...then the aggieness ensued...

i do guarantee whenever they go 11-2 or 12-1 people are gonna say "yeah with a true freshman qb!" and they'll be a preaseason number 1 in 2010
if they lose more than two games, then the excuses are going to start "we had to start a 17 year old at qb!"
