HAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA so basically... hard practice (UNREASONABLY hard practice) is fault for his injury... how come other players came through it and don't complain?
After reading the whole thing I think now he is even a bigger pussy than ever before. He blaims EVERYONE and EVERYTHING except his poor play and probably his diva at ude that helped the team to make the decision.
Another thing... This team is full of experts and people with some power. Do you really think Zdovc made the decision to let him go completely on his own? I think not. It was probably a decision from several people who all realized 2 things:
1. that he sucks
2. that he has a bad at ude (as expected) and doesn't fit into the team chemistry

This statement of his is one of the most butthurt things I ever read.
I can understand he is frustrated and hurt he got cut; but he is out of line going publicly pouring on everyone in the NT.
FACTS:
1. he sucked
2. he was hurt
3. he had chemistry issues
4. never in his statement he wrote anything about getting hurt when promoting his shoes; he blames the whole world instead of himself
5. he actually isn't too well in his head if he thinks he actually contributed to the Lakers winning the championship. He did a brickfest throught the playoffs!
Why the not to cut him? He deserved it.
Well i said i will not form an opinion, until i hear Sasha's side of the story, so now here it is:
It's clear that he had different expectations both on his role on the team as well as the whole preparation process. A softer coach (like Pipan) might make it work (or make it worse), but in the end, Zdovc did the right thing. It's clear he didn't get along with other players, he was in poor shape and in even poorer form. Cutting him was the best short term solution, it's too bad that Sasha doesn't see that this was done in his best interest too - imagine if the whole thing fell apart at the EC and players came out blaming him. Zdovc gave the "he got hurt, missed training, not enough time" spin on the whole situation and i think Sasha should've run with it. I understand his feelings were hurt and he feels he was unjustly treated for things out of his control, but instead of lashing back at NT, he should channel that into something positive, vowing to come back better and stonger next year.
The only bad thing about this ordeal is the fact, that he's now probably forever lost for the NT.

If Saša would be a real pro he would play it smoothly and come back next year stronger, healthy and more preapared. Hopefully he would also learn something about behaviour diference in the NT. This is not the NBA...
But he went and basically burned all the bridges.
Proud and honoured he got called to NT? No way. If this would be true he wouldn't act now like a hurt primadona but like a PROFESSIONAL!
I pray to basketball gods Zdovc will stop jugling rotations and players and finally let our best players play the bulk of the minutes to create chemistry and good morale after (hopefully) a pair of wins.
