He can't prove anything until he can stay healthy.
He needs to take it slow next year, focus on staying healthy then he can move from there. I wonder who will get the starting spot, Oden or Prysbilla...
what's that supposed to mean?

Good point. 9 and 7 is actually quite respectable for a 20 year old Center in his rookie year. Especially for the time he was on the court (20 MPG). Obviously its no good using per minute numbers if the guy cant stay on the court at his own fault, but you would expect him to get better at avoiding stupid fouls, and be able to stay on the court longer. I think he will be a 'very good' C for 10+ years.
Nah , I'm just like you. I jerk off to every Cavs pregame family photoshoot.
Maybe if them clowns put as much dedication into the actual game as they do the pregame intros, they wouldn't have been flabbergasted by Howard, Turk, and Shard last year.
Lookin like a bunch o' suckas
So basically, you agree. He's already a in' bust.
Yes, can ya imagine if Kobe & the Lakers went thru that happy horse before each game and then crapped the bed Vs. the Magic?
They'd a been crucified. , they were almost crucified when Lee made, I mean missed that layup. tee, hee.
"What is choking?", one might ask...
Choking would be taking a simple catch and lay-in into a super-acrobatic behind-the-glass fail.
I think Greg Oden is a genuine, selfless guy who wants nothing more than to prove himself and win games for the Blazers. I want him to succeed. However, he's looking more and more like this generation's Sam Bowie.
Sounds like Andrew Bynum for the Lakers, sans ESPN carrying Andrew's water & end of the log.
Hard to cheer for Bynum when he asks for more money and playing time... while injured. Plus, Oden could be a complete bust and is dying to get that monkey off his back. Bynum won't ever have to deal with negative media as long as he's a Laker. Even with that said, I don't think he'll be a bust unless that knee continues to give him problems year in and year out.
