He will make millions, doesn't matter to me. His future is set more so than the other kids in that class he is in for one hour.
Tim Tebow is take 1 hour of college credit this semester. Not 1 class (usually 3 hours), but 1 hour.
Tim's redefining student-athlete. You go girl!

Good for him. Sounds pretty fun to just go to a one hour class, play some football and chill for the rest of the time.
Am I the only one who's pissed about this type of ? In order to be a STUDENT athlete they need to set a minimum amount of hours per athlete. And if they don't want to take the classes well then they can just go pro.
Did he get his degree already? If he was smart enough to get a degree in 3 years and is just taking advantage of his 4th year in college to play out his eligibility I don't see what the problem is.
if he took one class a year while he was there than i would have a problem but if he is done than i don't see anything wrong with this
He will graduate with his class but has had the credits all but rapped up since last year. His GPA is a 3.72. I have no problem with this at all.
Are you that stupid? He was actually way ahead in the credit department. This isn't like Leinart where he took a 3 hour class in his third year for his degree. He is taking a 1 hour class in his 4th year for his. You want him to take unnecessary classes for another degree that he will never finish?
colts only taking 3 hours in the fall
christian fellowship
evangelistic ministry
and joelolsteenanomics
Actually Leinart took ballroom dancing during his last year at USC because he only needed 2 hrs of credit to get his degree.
I know, but it was his 5th year. He was a bit behind and Tebow was way ahead.
Me too. This is our only text book.

If he is done than he shouldn't be allowed to take a bull 1 hour class so he can just play another entire season of football. I'm not sure how his scholarship works or how much it pays for but right now it seems like they're practically paying him to just play football.
yeah if he is already done and that is all he needs, I don't see what the big deal is. He pretty much did his work early and is now enjoying the benefits of it. Who cares.
Um, any student who actually has to take a minimum amount of hours (usually 12) and doesn't get free room and board like I'm almost positive he does. I'm not being naive. I know this happens with a lot of players but 1 ing hour is just a ridiculous new low. So besides going in for 30 minutes a day 2 days a week to what I can only imagine is some sort of blow off P.E. class, he's getting paid by the university through his scholarship to live and eat for free on campus just because he plays football?
Honest question here. A student receives an academic scholarship and for some reason only needs 1 credit hour to graduate. Do they get to keep that scholarship and stay on the campus for free that semester to finish that 1 credit? I would assume they would. I honestly do not think it is ONLY because he is a football player. He needs 1 credit to graduate. He's taking 1 credit. Don't see the problem.
Maybe he is no longer on scholarship? His family is already rich, plus he has I think a 2 million dollar insurance policy so he can afford to spend some money on college. I don't think he is going to have a problem getting a loan either.
ahh ok. Well that is a bit different then. If you actually need 6 hours to qualify for a scholarship, then he should have to take 6 hours.
Well then if this is true, how the does a student at a university as big as Florida let a student still be enrolled and only take 1 hour. The only classes that I know of that are 1 hour are simple P.E. type classes that are usually filled with underclassmen. So I really don't see a situation in which someone would JUST need 1 more hour credit to finish up their degree. BTW, does anyone know what he's majoring in?
His major according to UoF page is "Family, youth and community sciences"
I already had plenty.
This is no reason either. I guess it's just the good old Freudian theory coming into play: penis envy.
You've seen his penis?
Tebow has more important things to do than take a lot of classes.
