He's an idiot who jacked up his career.
"Dana's had some hard things to say about me, but I've never had anything bad to say about him," he said.
Sylvia said that not only is the UFC the best organization when it comes to money and big fights (though he earned a staggering disclosed base pay of $800,000 in the loss to Emelianenko), but he already had a few opponents in mind.
"When it comes to business, the best thing for Tim Sylvia right now is to be back in the UFC," Sylvia said. "They're the biggest organization. They have the most money, the best fights."
"There'd be some great fights if I was back in the UFC. Me against Frank (Mir), me against (Antonio Rodrigo) Nogueira, me against Randy (Couture). Those three right there. The two guys I lost to (Nogueira and Couture) that were all great fights the first time.

Didn't we see all those fights already? He got is arm broken in one, was on street after one punch in another, and was sube'd as soon as his butt hit the floor in the last one.
what was the background story on tim? why did he leave in the first place?
All kidding aside, i am not completely against Tim coming back to the UFC but he needs to get back to top shape and win some fights in smaller shows. I know he doesn't want the last image of him in the ring to be face down on the mat, having gotten beat up by a pro-boxer..
Tim in shape would be a solid gate keeper type guy at this point...he could occasionally pull off a win against a top 10 caliber guy too...
If he has any pride, he'll make a comeback...doubt if Dana has him back though. 315 lbs and getting KO'd by Mercer is just unacceptable...and a disgrace to MMA.
well...its kinda two reasons.
1. He wanted to help Monte Cox launch Adrenaline and he "wanted to go where the big money is" in Affliction. He also wanted to box, lol. And he said some dumb about the UFC.
2. He really didn't fit anymore...the fans just don't like him. The dude keeps saying & doing dumb . Like how fans were starting to love him....then the post fight conference with the Randy fight he alludes that he lost due to injury so the fans hate him again.
Personally...the guy is an idiot and Monte Cox seems to really struggle with managing top fighters. But if he wants back I don't care. I'm guessing his will and work ethic is shot now tho.
If Tim has any pride left whatsoever. He will rededicate himself to training, try to get a rematch with Mercer, beat him easy, win a few more fights in smaller shows and then maybe maybe, he will get the call from the UFC. Either way he needs to re-dedicate to MMA, when in shape, dude was a top fighter..
How did none of you see this?

After showing up as a sloppy, hairy 315-pound beast for his last fight, Tim Sylvia is a natural to be cast as a horror film monster. Fighters.com is reporting that he got a gig in the latest Friday the 13th movie. Yes, we're serious.
Sylvia has been a blogosphere punchline since he was knocked out in 10 seconds by 48-year-old Ray Mercer. He's a favorite of photoshoppers. We can't even imagine what comes now when MMA fans find out Sylvia is the latest Jason Vorhees.
Sylvia does have a return fight in less than three weeks on September 18 at Adrenaline MMA 4 in Iowa. The movie is filming in the Boston area. Here's hoping that filming is taking just a few hours a day and he's actually training for his fight against Jason Riley. Fighters.com says Sylvia is working with Boston-based trainer Mark DellaGrotte.
Probably because it isn't true. http://www.imdb.com/ le/tt1388372/
It isn't showing Tim Sylvia as Jason, but the same person (Derek Mears)
If he could his together it would be good to have him back but lets be real its not going to happen and he will be fighting for like WEC and like that. He is just trying to get into an organization now that Affliction has folded.
ahhh icic, thanks Evan.
